Today we’d like to introduce you to Lavonte Smith and Jami Burrell.

Hi Lavonte and Jami, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I told my sister Jami I was interested in doing a podcast. I was thinking about different people who would match my energy. I could not think about doing it with nobody but Jami. Were soo different but yet soo similar. We thought about different names to call the podcast. We consider Miraculous Podcast and many different names. We wanted to honor our coisin who is one of the founders of BornLeadaz we called Ponnie and said can we carry the name on he was so excited and boom that was the start of BornLeadaz podcast. We started September 2020 in the midst of the pandemic I think we was the only podcast having face to face interviews.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
For the most part, it’s been smooth. Sometimes it can get frustrating when u plan a whole day to interview someone and they do a no call no show or they don’t promote their own interview we did on their own social media platform.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
PATIENCE!! Patience is definitely a virtue. I learned in this industry is to keep it professional and remain HUMBlE through any circumstance.
