Trip, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
My legacy! I put my blood sweat and tears into my artistry and craft! A lot of people don’t see or know what we was artist have to go through while trying to become famous. When i tell you trying to become famous is the HARDEST thing I’ve ever had to endure but it’s the most fun and challenging thing ive ever done!!! but nobody ever seems to notice all the work i put in behind the scenes :/ hopefully one day soon we can change that.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello! My name is Trip Stormz and sometimes i go by Roźettie Red & Norman Muny. I’m an up and coming artist hailing from Wichita Kansas, STRIVING to put it on the map for artist! I’m also a versatile artist! i do Hip-Hop, Pop, Pop Rap, RNB, Rock, Dance, Club and so much more! One of my goals is to be able to drawl in crowds from different genres and creating such an amazing and diverse fan base!

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My grandma, aunts, my sister Jada, nd best friends but most importantly god and my amazing supporters whom i call my “Tripz”! without them i wouldn’t be where i am today! i thank my Tripz so so so soo much, i’ve gotten so much love over the past 4 almost 5 years i’ve been doing this and the inspiration i get from them is so INSANE!!! i love them all soo much.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would say…

Please hold onto the friendships you have very dearly, one day these friendships u have will fade away after school ends.

Don’t choose the one you chose before!!

It’s gonna be okay, i promise! we made it! we are becoming famous!

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What’s a belief you used to hold tightly but now think was naive or wrong?
To forgive and forget! That’s always made me feel like i was a pushover and allowed anyone to walk all over me and use me all because i forgave them for what they did and we both pretended like it never happened after few days or so after it happened!!! im DONE doing that! i’m soooo done!

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I’m truly doing what i was born to do! Jehovah God gave me these amazing gifts and abilities and i’ll forever spend the rest of my life proving to him that he didn’t make a mistake! I really appreciate being able to make music and also being able to put it out into the world and have THOUSANDS of people listening to it. I can’t wait to get on stage and rock the crowd.
