Good morning Tommi, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What are you chasing, and what would happen if you stopped?
I am chasing true artistry. I’m on a path of discovering what real art feels like and looks like to me and I’m playing that out in my music and visuals, it’s been a really fun and exciting time! If I stopped I honestly don’t think I would feel satisfied in my life. I know art is my purpose and passion and I wouldn’t want to do anything else.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Tommi Aura is an androgynous artist taking over pop music. Their sound can be described as experimental pop with elements of electronic and dance. Aura has an extensive career in modeling, having worked with clients such as Haus Labs by Lady Gaga, Vogue Magazine, Elle Magazine and Chanel just to name a few. Taking from their fashion experience, Aura merges fashion with their music to create a dynamic experience for any observer of the Aura brand. Welcome to the world of Tommi Aura.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
In 6th grade, my teacher told me I have the “chill factor” meaning when I sing I give people chills. That was the first moment I realized I had a gift worth pursuing.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Why of course! I think in this modern age with social media it’s so easy to compare to others and feel like you’re not doing enough. For me, I’ve had some really hard moments with this. But again what keeps me going is knowing this is purpose and passion and success is just a by-product of becoming the best artist I can possibly be.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
Lady Gaga is one of my biggest inspirations. I feel like she balances her real self with her artistic character really well and that’s something I aspire to achieve as well.

The story I hope people tell is my art and character made an impact on their lives in a positive, life-changing way.
