We’re looking forward to introducing you to Sean Green. Check out our conversation below.
Hi Sean, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
Week 1 of the NFL season is always a rush for us. This year we kicked off the season with several preseason and regular season live shows on VSIN which is a huge jump for our show, network, and brand as a whole. Being live in Las Vegas every week is a rush that just reminds me how far we have come from recording in Kramer’s garage week in and week out.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Sean “Stacking the Money” Green and I am the co-founder of the Sports Gambling Podcast Network. Building a brand from scratch with one of my good friends has been an absolute privilege. We started in a garage and now we have an awesome studio and office to continue to grow our brand. Our motto is Let it Ride, and that is one of the best ways to describe how we have gotten this far.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
Broken Trust. In this industry, trust is often central to building cache with our community and how we build our strongest team. Failure to maintain trust destroys a relationship between people, no matter how long you have known them. Rebuilding that trust takes a ton of time, but it is theoretically possible.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Betting on yourself is worth it. Throughout my early career, I was hesitant at times, but looking back, it has been spectacularly worth it.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
100%. What you see is what you get with me, I am the same guy on air as I am in my personal life. Being genuine and your true self is the most appealing characteristic for many people in an age where we see so many people carefully curate their images.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
The community we have built. Without Kramer and I, SGPN would not be the same. I don’t know if I ever could retire from this though, this has been too much and fun and we have built so many things together that it’d be hard to walk away.
