Rising Stars: Meet Patchai Reyes of Arles( South of French)

Today we’d like to introduce you to Patchai Reyes

Patchai, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
The Gipsy Kings formed in Arles, a village in the south of France, in 1979. Me, Nicolas, Canut, Paul and Andre Reyes, children of the flamenco legend Jose Reyes, welcome their cousins to the Los Reyes Tonino, Diego, Paco, Jacques and Maurice Baliardo (in turn grandchildren of guitarist
Manitas de Plata).
The intent is to play at weddings, parties, or simply on the street; entering the tour of the premises of St. Tropez are noticed in 1986 by producer Claude Martinez, who prompts them to combine their flamenco with elements of pop music.
Gipsy Kings were born!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not. The road has always been uphill, especially our beginning when they roamed the beach clubs of st Tropez asking for offers for our music

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Music is all for me and for my family.
We grew up around the fire Singing and playing guitars and we still play until today.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
Yes.Music is the stronger and universal language able to reach the worldwide hearts.
World need music , not wars!
