Rising Stars: Meet Mariela I’V

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mariela I’V.

Hi Mariela, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started my career as a model at age 12. I knew I wanted to be an actress since I was a child. I acted in Films, TV and commercial since I was 15. The rest throughout the years I grew and experienced a bit of everything in the model and acting world. As a teenager up to now I had DJ’d for fun in the beginning and now it has become professional. I also have produced various projects since I was 21 with my production, Vanity M.I.V Production. Up to today, I have produced 6 various films. One to be soon released “Dolce Disposizione” an Italian short comedy.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There’s always a bump in the road but focus, determination & my diverse background of knowledge has been the key to moving forward and growing in the entertainment field. If I was to name the biggest challenge that would be people in the entertainment such as publicist/pr there’s good ones and bad ones. Hopefully, they do their job correctly and work positively with entertainers. And it is a political game and judgemental. My mentality is I’m assured, proactive and confident of myself so if they like me great but if they don’t, I don’t care. Same with fans or civilians some people will like you and some won’t if that has do to with race, looks, personality, religion, jealousy or cultural differences. I am a spiritual cultural type with a diverse background. I don’t make time for bad etiquette or small-minded people.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am an entertainer, a person that loves to perform in film and share art and beauty in photos that are created of me. As well as a creator and producer of making magic 🙂 I enjoy as well sharing other talents, the cycle of give and take, a hand helping another hand. I am most proud of my own projects that I created my short films that I produced, wrote and acted in, “Tea Time” and “Dolce Disposizione” I know this is known already of being an actress, model and producer. Other things to know of what I do, I am an artist of many traits a DJ known as DJ I’V LOVE, a painter in my spare time, my work can be seen on my website www.marielaiv.com, and I am also an inventor of some product I created, but this is private till the release date. Overall anything of the arts I have accomplished this.

What are your plans for the future?
Currently, for big plans these are not said till the moment or done. NDA’s publication rules take effect. I am always creating even during the covid period, even if it was a slow period. I have been mainly focused on the development of my product. I love to invent and create. I have also been enjoying to travel again since after covid and have the moment captured in photos and published, this summer I spent it in NYC.
