Instead of giving up, she saw an opportunity to start a mobile notary business. From those challenging beginnings, she poured her heart into the company, earning a reputation for excellence that now boasts over 3,000 positive reviews.
As the business grew, Lesly transformed it into a family affair, bringing in her son, sister, daughter, and nephew to build the company together. This has allowed Seals on Wheels to expand its services far beyond standard notary work, assisting clients with complex needs like international documents, destination weddings, and hospital visits. Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road. Every business faces challenges, and we’ve had our share. The most significant one was the initial period of getting the business off the ground with no client base. However, I’ve always believed that challenges are opportunities in disguise. We’ve managed to turn every obstacle into a learning experience, and it’s that persistence that has allowed us to grow and serve our clients so effectively for 14 years..
