Dr. Brittany, always such a pleasure connecting with you and thank you for sharing your stories, insights and inspiring messages with our community. We’re looking forward to getting the download and what you have been up to since our last interview, but first can you briefly introduce yourself to folks who might have missed the prior conversation.
I’m often called a Renaissance Woman. I am a mother, partner, and friend while also a Businesswoman, versatile creative & Founder of a small-business, Soul Stone Group. Wearing the Hats that I do, I rarely know where to start with explaining what I do or who I am to the world of Art.
I’m a sixteen-time award-winning Performer, Writer, Speaker & Author. I’ve received am Honorary Doctoral Degree in Humanities. I believe what makes me different is that my canvas is not paper, but hearts, minds and souls.
I do hope, as you dive into my unique story you would agree that my Premise is Love, My Passion is using Creative Arts for healing and encouragement.

Awesome, so we reached out because we wanted to hear all about what you have been up to since we last connected.
So much has happened or is happening, since we’ve caught up last. I’m stoked to share that I’ve released a brand new book, it’s a part of The Key Series. The Key of Hope with Brittany Soul was just released January 2025. It infuses poetry, prose and stories that range from processing hurt and hopeless to restored hope, faith, trusting again, and just feeling seen in a world that is blindingly loud. And with such timing, all that has happened during recent weeks in Los Angeles, CA, Las Vegas, NV, the Nation and the world. We need the reminders of Hope.
I celebrated this book release via my renowned, music-infused, elevated Book Tour, entitled, Spoken Soultry Experience. It was absolutely incredible! Feedback for this fifth event ranged from words like, edifying, hilarious, heart-warming, intimate and edifying. Spoken Soultry Experience is my baby that creates platform for all my other visionary babies, so to speak. Hoping to bring the tour to Los Angeles, NV in the near future.
I’ve also released a new spoken word release, Christmas Eve 2024, called He is Pure Poetry. This poem infuses an incredible jazz, soul, live musical sound that just brings my words to life. I’d love your support – Stream, Download and add to your playlists.

- Mountains or Beach: Beach and then Mountains, please. 🙂
- Did you play sports growing up (if so which ones): I ran track & field as a youth, then got into Arts (Dance, Theater, Choir & Drama) and it was a wrap!
- As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up: In addition to a Singer and Writer, I thought I’d be an Accountant or Mailwoman – based on the toddler-Me’s interests.
- French Fries or Onion Rings: French Fries, of course.
- Favorite Cartoon growing up: I loved Dextor’s Laboratory &
- Favorite Childhood movie: Five Heartbeats is definitely One.
- Favorite Breakfast Food: Eggs
What do you want people to remember about you and your brand? What are some of things that you feel are most important, unique, special, etc?
What I’d be honored for people to remember about my Brand are the things I find most value in. My pillars are Grace, Class & Dopeness. This shows up a myriad of ways, but my core values and favorite topics all bring us back to Love, Healing & Versatility.
I have plenty of new releases that are a mixture of Spoken Word, Inspiring Hip Hop, Soulful and Jazzy Songs, etc.
One thing that should ring true in all that I do is – my canvas is not paper.
It is to uplift and inspire your heart, mind and soul.
