Today we’d like to introduce you to Bianca Emde.
Hi Bianca, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My path has been anything but traditional. I studied social media analysis, UX design and marketing at the University of Michigan and started my career in tech, working as a technical architect at IBM. But over time, I realized I was craving something more creative, embodied, and personal.
I pivoted into the wellness space—becoming a certified Pilates and sound healing instructor—and started sharing that journey online. From there, content creation and modeling unfolded naturally. I’ve always been drawn to visual storytelling, and modeling became another outlet to express emotion, energy, and narrative through movement and stillness.
Now, I work across wellness, content, and modeling—collaborating with brands that align with my values and telling stories that feel human, grounded, and real. It’s been a journey of self-trust, reinvention, and coming home to myself.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not a smooth road—but I don’t think it’s supposed to be. Leaving a stable tech career to pursue a creative, non-linear path came with a lot of uncertainty. I had to unlearn the idea that success only looks one way, and learn to trust myself in seasons of doubt and financial instability.
There was also a deeper layer of personal growth—coming out, navigating a divorce, and redefining what it means to live authentically. All of that shaped the way I show up in my work today. The struggles made me softer, more resilient, and more rooted in my values.
I’ve learned that with hardship comes ease; they’re two sides of the same coin. It hasn’t been easy—but it’s been worth it. And when you live in alignment, things work out for you.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I wear a few hats, but at the core of everything I do is storytelling. I’m a wellness instructor, model, and content creator—and I specialize in creating work that feels human, cinematic, and intentional.
Whether I’m leading a sound bath, modeling for a campaign, or creating organic content for a brand, I always aim to bring depth, emotion, and authenticity. I think that’s what sets me apart: I’m not interested in perfection—I’m interested in presence and feeling.
I’m most proud of how I’ve stayed true to my values in a space that often rewards performance over sincerity. My work is rooted in embodiment, beauty, and healing—and I hope people can feel that through the screen.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
To me, success is living in alignment—with my values, creativity, and truth—but also being of service. I feel most successful when my work helps people feel more seen, grounded, or inspired. Whether it’s offering tools for healing through sound, sharing movement practices, or creating content that sparks reflection, I want to leave people better than I found them.
It’s not about metrics—it’s about impact. Success is knowing that something I shared made someone feel less alone, more empowered, or more connected to themselves.
Ultimately, success is a quiet, steady feeling: peace, purpose, and presence in the work I offer to the world.
