Today we’d like to introduce you to Becca Brazil.
Hi Becca, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I actually started as a visionary, building my own path early on. I was the first Miss Jetset winner, which came with $100,000 in cash and prizes. I used that opportunity to open my first storefront, and that’s really where everything clicked for me. I began to understand the power of personal branding. At the end of the day, how do you sell anything? You have to become someone people trust and love.
Even though I’ve continued to grow in business, I still see myself as an artist and a content creator at heart. For me, it’s always been about more than just business. It’s about creating, connecting, and spreading happiness. You are not your business, and that’s something I think people sometimes forget.
From there, I stepped deeper into entertainment and media, building my own brand while also helping others do the same. That led me to found Only 1 Media PR, where we focus on helping talent, entrepreneurs, and brands build visibility in a meaningful and lasting way.
This industry isn’t always easy to navigate. It can be hard to know who to trust, and early on I realized I had to rely on myself, stay consistent, and build with intention. That mindset shaped everything I’ve created.
Today, I’m grateful to be part of Forbes Business Council, Rolling Stone Culture Council, the Recording Academy, and to have co-founded Hollywood Hills Magazine.
At the core of everything I do is the belief that visibility can change lives. I’m thankful that I get to help people go from unknown to unforgettable, while continuing to build something that feels true to who I am.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. This industry can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also be unpredictable and, at times, difficult to navigate. As I mentioned above, one of the biggest challenges early on was learning who to trust. There are a lot of people in this space, and not everyone has the best intentions, so I had to stay grounded, and really build with intention.
There were also moments where things didn’t happen as quickly as I thought they would, or opportunities didn’t come together the way I expected. But those experiences taught me resilience and how to adapt. I’ve learned that consistency and relationships are everything.
Another challenge was wearing so many hats. Building something from the ground up means you’re doing everything yourself before you can build a team. That can be overwhelming, but it also gave me a deep understanding of every part of the business.
At the end of the day, I see those challenges as necessary. They shaped how I move now, how I work with clients, and how I protect my brand. And they’ve made me even more passionate about helping others navigate this space in a smarter, more supported way so they don’t have to learn everything the hard way.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
What sets me apart is that I’ve built my own brand first. I started with a dream of making music, performing, and speaking on stages to inspire people through my voice.
At one point, that felt far away. But over time, I realized that any dream is possible when you’re willing to stay consistent, adapt, and truly believe in yourself.
As I’ve grown, I’ve stepped into being a techno pop artist and content creator, and more recently into acting, which is going to be a major focus for me moving forward. For me, it’s always been about expression, connection, and creating something that resonates with people.
Because I’ve lived this journey, I understand the industry from a personal level, not just from the outside looking in. I know what it takes to grow, stay relevant, and navigate a space that’s constantly evolving.
That’s why I don’t just offer services. I offer strategy, access, and real guidance rooted in real experience. I’ve been in the position of building something from nothing, and now I get to help others do the same, turning what once felt like a dream into something tangible and real.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories was going to Brazil every year. It felt like I was living two different lives in the best way. I was born and raised in the U.S., but being in Brazil with my mom’s side of the family, speaking the language fluently, and fully immersing myself in the culture gave me a completely different perspective.
It taught me how to adapt, connect with different people, and appreciate different ways of life from a young age. I think that experience shaped a lot of who I am today, both personally and in how I connect with others.
