Hello! My name is Annie Wolk, an artist who’s passionate about watercolors but loves exploring the endless possibilities of creation. While balancing a corporate career, art continues to be of my favorite outlets. During the pandemic, I focused on honing my skills, connecting with local creatives, and getting involved in various community pop-up events. With summer here and the days stretching longer, it’s been exciting to dive deeper into new projects and soak up all the creative inspiration this season brings
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Smoothness means something different to everyone—it’s all about the effort you put in, the results you experience, and what you take from it. Even when things get tough, sticking to what you love creatively can help you get through any obstacles.

I’m a passionate creative at heart, and while I’m most recognized for my watercolor and line art, my love for creating spans across various mediums and styles. What I’m most proud of is my ability to inspire others—one memorable moment for me was when a young girl approached me at a market, sharing how my work motivated her to start painting. She showed me her own creations inspired by my pieces. That is a moment I will always hold close to me. What sets me apart is my ability to infuse genuine joy into my art, creating pieces that not only reflect my happiness but also inspire others to find their own creative spark.
What are your plans for the future?
Looking ahead, I plan to keep creating in ways that make me happy. I’m eager to dive back into community events like markets and pop-ups, and I’m excited to find new ways to share my work and connect with fellow art lovers.
