Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I began experimenting with photography in 2017 while on a trip to Cuba. I bought my first professional camera and began shooting portraits for free for friends and family. I developed an serious interest for it and started offering services to coworkers and decided to start a business for professional headshots and portraits, and then began offering event coverage as well.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been quite a rough road and having to learn the ropes in marketing and brand development. Things that go beyond the art of photography itself.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in Headshot and Portrait photography, Event and Wedding Photography.
I am proud of my work in general but I particularly enjoy Headshot photography the most as it allows me to have more of a direct interaction with the client, guiding them thorough poses and teaching them how to relax in the process.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Building and growing your business goes far beyond the technical skills of your niche, it requires in depth knowledge of marketing and branding, how to communicate your product and services to your clients and customers while solving a key problem in the market.
