Meet Victoria Mihok

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Victoria Mihok. Victoria was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Gabrielle Harris.

Victoria , can you walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I grew up in Albuquerque, NM and played soccer for as long as I can remember. It was always a dream of mine to play at the collegiate level. I am happy to say that dream of mine was achieved and I played for both New Mexico State University and the University of New Mexico. After my college career came to an end I realized I wanted to be involved in some way in sports or the fitness community. I began my journey as a brand new personal trainer and worked my way up the ladder from there taking every opportunity to learn from more experienced coaches and getting as many certifications as I could get my hands on. I took a mentorship that got my foot in the door working with athletes that eventually led me to taking a job as a strength and conditioning coach that allowed me to work with professional athletes. Fast forward a couple of years, I joined the military and graduated at the top of my class and ended up in Texas. After my time in the Army, I got my license to buy/sell real estate in Texas but I also came to the realization that passion for fitness and helping other people reach their goals wasn’t going away and that it would always be a part of my life one way or another. I decided I would do both – real estate and fitness training which led me to accepting a role as a personal trainer in North Richland Hills.

Please tell us more about your brand, Real Estate Agent Dallas Fort Worth Realtor and Fitness Trainer
Personal training and helping others achieve lifestyle changes, fitness and also personal goals is something I will always be extremely passionate about. There is rarely a greater feeling than a client coming to you and telling you they finally feel comfortable and happy in their own skin. Seeing the end result and helping someone achieve whatever it was they were trying to achieve is such a blessing but what I value even more is going through the process with my clients and seeing their growth, knowledge and confidence build is truly invaluable and it reminds me why I do what I do. Although, most of my clients have been with me for years and move with me wherever I end up – even if it’s virtual training, what I think sets me apart from others is the relationships and most importantly, trust that I build with my clients. I strive constantly to expand my knowledge and skillset so that I can invest it back into my clientele. This goes for not only fitness, but real estate as well.

Gabrielle Harris has been a great friend to us and I know you’ve got a great relationship as well. Maybe you can tell our audience a bit about Gabrielle and your experience with them.
I remember the first time I read Gabrielle’s file after she met with my fitness manager at the time. Because of my experience and certifications, I was asked personally if she was a client that I would like to take on. Without hesitation, I gladly accepted and I will be forever grateful that I did. The first ever session I did with her was more of an assessment to determine how she moved, her range of motion with certain exercises and how i could best assist her. Initially, training Gabby was also a learning experience for me because I had to learn more about Cerebral Palsy myself, what would she benefit most from and with her limitations, what style of training would serve her best. My first goal with Gabrielle was to help her with her balance and increasing her overall core strength. Looking back, standing from a seated position and just walking without a fall were extremely difficult for her. Through bettering her diet/nutrition and incorporating functional training, I had Gabby able to push a weighted sled, able to walk laterally, knocking out hip thrusts on a machine, lifting impressive amount of weight to her losing the weight she came to me initially for. There were times when I would see her be frustrated but she will always be one of the hardest workers in the room. Gabby has a certain light that shines through her and if you get the pleasure of meeting her one day, I know you’ll see it too.
