Today we’d like to introduce you to Tina Ghahramani.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Tina. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I got started in the world of fertility acupuncture back in 2007 when I attended acupuncture graduate school. I got surprisingly pregnant in my second year of graduate school and it was a huge blessing. It became the catalyst for my career in helping women. My own experience of naturally conceiving after years of hormone imbalance and depression, was a miracle in itself. I experienced the power of Chinese medicine and acupuncture first hand. This became my calling- to share this powerful medicine with every woman I knew.
My pregnancy was not only smooth with zero complications, but I didn’t have more than one month of morning sickness! I received weekly acupuncture treatments and could see the difference when I skipped one week. My nausea would subside and my mood lifted. Acupuncture also helped me achieve a natural labor without the use of medical interventions like C-section surgery. Being eight days past my due date, I tried acupuncture for labor progression and went into active labor only 48 hours after receiving my treatment! I was so happy to birth my baby naturally while feeling empowered not only as a woman, but as a new glowing mother. This paved the way for me becoming a birth doula and childbirth teacher 5 years later.
About one year after I became a licensed acupuncturist, I decided to start my own company Radiance of the Womb. I dedicated my area of specialization to women’s health and helping couples create their own dream family. I knew my passion was in helping other women with fertility and pregnancy. Nothing gave me greater joy!
Then in 2015, my husband and I opened Healing Light Family Acupuncture. Our dream of opening our family acupuncture practice in fountain valley finally came true. Our vision was to serve our community in a compassionate way where women and couples felt loved and empowered. Today, so many couples struggle with infertility and pregnancy loss. They seek the care of heart-centered practitioners. We strive to be this support system and resource for couples in our community.
In our practice today, we specialize in fertility acupuncture, miscarriage loss, hormone imbalance, pregnancy, labor and postpartum care. However, we are unique in our approach as we are also energy healers. My hubby Mukunda Singh is a Reiki master and Qigong teacher in Orange county. I am an energy healer, clairvoyant and intuitive life coach. Our patients greatly benefit from the combination of acupuncture and Chinese herbs plus energy healing. Together, these modalities form our magic elixir.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has definitely not been a smooth road. I started Radiance of the Womb when I was one year postpartum with my second child and overcame postpartum depression. It was extremely difficult being away from my baby and working to establish a successful practice.
We also had to overcome more obstacles when we opened our family acupuncture practice. It’s not all peaches and cream having your own business, but I believe it is totally worth following your dreams in life. You build resilience and learn from your mistakes as a business owner.
Please tell us about Radiance of the Womb & Healing Light Family Acupuncture.
Radiance of the Womb is my first company which I started on my own in 2013. Healing Light Family Acupuncture is our family acupuncture practice which was founded in 2015.
My hubby and I specialize in women’s health, fertility acupuncture, miscarriage loss, pregnancy, labor progression and postpartum care. We are known for being compassionate healers and acupuncturist’s in our community.
What I am most proud of with both our companies is that we have a high level of care and compassion with our patients and they truly FEEL that. We want to empower them in their own unique healing experience.
What sets us apart from others in our field is that we have a strong foundation in energy medicine. My hubby Mukunda Singh is a Reiki master and Qigong teacher for almost a decade. I am an intuitive energy healer for the past 10 years, clairvoyant since the age of 4, and now a life coach.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
No I wouldn’t change a thing. Every life experience teaches you valuable and sacred lessons in your soul journey. It makes you who you are today!
