Hi Starlite, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I have always had an intuitive calling to help others since I was in high school. My first experience was as a candy striper at the local hospital. In college, I became a child and family development major and upon graduation continued on to receive a Master’s Degree in Social Work. I have enjoyed working with families and children as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 25 years.
I combine an eastern and western approach to supporting my clients and have worked in diverse settings that include: private practice, home, schools and counseling centers. My multifaceted approach has given me the opportunity to accompany adults and children through many life situations, helping them to cope, develop new understanding and confidence both individually and in groups. My focus is to tune to my client’s strengths, intuition and creativity to help promote empowerment and healing.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Ultimately, I feel my path has always lead me to where I need to be. I have supported many client’s through difficult situations and feel blessed that I have developed trusting and long-standing relationships with them. The goal is to continue to support more people to help them heal and share their light with the world.
As you know, we’re big fans of Starlite Healing. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I have married my counseling practice with my innate healing abilities to create a practice that supports psychological and energetic healing. My sessions are offered to both children and adults and integrate uncovering blockages and integrating energy healing. I use crystals, visualization techniques and chakra balancing followed by a channeled intuitive reading and recommendations.
What were you like growing up?
I am an empathic old soul who has always been a deep thinker and feeler. I have a profound love and connection to nature as well as a curiosity about the mysteries of life. I have always enjoyed being a connector and problem solver and have a deep appreciation for art and seeing the beauty in everything. I love to create art and write. I love animals and look to them as guides to symbolic meaning.
