Meet Nathan Kammourieh of Vision Inc.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nathan Kammourieh

Nathan, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
After graduating college from Unlv I played overseas basketball, came back had a daughter so I started bartending to make money immediately. But after many years doing that I decided I wanted opportunities to make money during the daytime, so I googled careers for heavily tatted people and stumbled across barbering. So I humbled myself and went back to school at the age of 30, finished top of my class and have been barbering ever since. Started my mobile barber business during Covid. Also still the head bartender at a nightclub, so I do both (with pride) currently.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Being the oldest barber student was frustrating because I was forced to humble myself and be open to learning a craft from scratch, while some of the teens in my class had been barbering for years for their family’s shop, but still dropping my pride to ask for advice from them was tough. But in the end I’m happy I did. Also Covid did not help at all, as bartending and barbering were both wiped out simultaneously. So that’s what led me to open my mobile barbering business, and fortunately it has been a huge success.

As you know, we’re big fans of Vision Inc.. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I own a mobile barbering service the specializes in making clients lives convenient. I am extremely strong in fading all textures of hair, and the speed in which I complete my cuts. Also extremely efficient and very clean. (I bring my own chair, require nothing except decent lighting and I throughly clean up with a vacuum after the services are completed.) I am very proud of the lasting relationships I have built and continue to grow. I am still accepting clients as of now but very soon I will be at the point I can’t fit anymore in so it’s bitter sweet but I have always wanted to be the type of barber that honors all my clients and be able to be actually available for them in their lives when needed/wanted.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
Open mind and humbleness can achieve true success. And confidence doesn’t happen over night, but when you reach it, it’s very rewarding.
