Today we’d like to introduce you to Ryan Rinauro.
Ryan, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I come from a small town outside of Sacramento. Shingle Springs, CA.
I fell in love with HipHop at the age of 9 when I first heard 50 Cent’s “Get Rich or Die Tryin”. Shortly after discovering Eminem and Jay-Z. That’s when it all started. That’s when I knew I wanted to rap and start writing music.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Ever since I’ve stepped forward on knowing what I wanted to do for a living, everything fell together. There has been minor bumps and setbacks on the way but that comes with the territory of any business.
Can you give our readers some background on your music?
My main focus is making music relatable to my fans and help making them aware there are some people that go through the same obstacles as they do. I’m most proud of my debut album entitled “Lost Boy” that I just dropped. Every song on there is very introspective and I feel a lot of people can get to know me personally through the record. I’m learning not to be scared of being open and that’s what I’m portraying through my records.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
That’s a good question for me. I’ve never really thought of that. I think realistically I’m just real fond of the craft of rap itself. I love to write and make music. Other than that, I don’t look back on things too much. I’m always just trying to look forward onto the next thing. If I’m fond of anything, it’s my latest work. “Lost Boy” go take a listen. Also, I have another project I’m working on. I’ll just leave that there.
