Today we’d like to introduce you to Regina Francen.
Hi Regina, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I grew up a tomboy always around my brothers. I loved videos games, playing outside and sports. Growing up and always being active, I developed athleticism. In high school, I was the caption of two sports teams: basketball and track. On these teams, I was also recognized as “Most Valuable Player”. Thus, in college I also was a division I student-athlete. During college, I wanted to find my divine feline energy and shift away from the tomboy energy. So, after sports I developed a passion for modeling, which helped me understand my femininity while still feeding my desire to perform.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It is a struggle balancing me as to how I grew up and who I want to become. For instance, I grew up a Tomboy. I still take great joy in playing sports, playing video games, chilling in shorts and a tank, and moving around effortlessly. As the woman I am becoming, I have recognized that to become more of a divine feminine force, it takes more focus and effort to recognize and take heed to my postures, appearance, gestures, mannerisms and overall essence that I exude. Sometimes this self-awareness is a challenge for me.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Not only am I an athlete and a model, but I also conquer academically. I have obtained my master’s degree in Business and am developing a fashion brand currently. I am so exciting to create a fashion brand that excludes class with a hint of sexy.
