Today we’d like to introduce you to Pablo Kaestli.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Pablo. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
It started in Montreal. I was 16-17 when I first got scouted by a modeling agency and it took one more year before I joined one. I had no real long-term goal with modeling until I made my first trip in Los Angeles during the summer of 2017. During that summer, I worked with an internationally known photographer, Filbert Kung, who helped me a lot with amazing shoots.
After that summer, I was eager to come back to L.A. for good this time; I signed with Next Models LA and met two amazing people in that agency, Aileen Manso and Alexander Torres. Both of them rooted for me and I just recently got approved for my O1 Visa, so I couldn’t be happier. L.A. was a dream of mine since I was young, and now, everything seem set for me to succeed.
Has it been a smooth road?
There are always struggles; nobody lives a life without trouble. I think that if I live my life simply by being scared of making mistakes, I will never be happy. There is a lot to learn from experience; maybe all you need to learn comes from it, good or bad. I’ve had moments in my life when I felt hurt, but I’ve had more happy memories, so, in the end, I’m fulfilled with the life I live.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the TheCurlyFrenchBoy story. Tell us more about the business.
I am a male model recently signed with Next Models LA.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I think modeling is always changing, but always conform to the trend makes you lost.
Being unique is and will always be the trend. This idea that living in society makes you obligated to answer criteria to be part of it is a way to never really know the person you are. Go out there, do different things since your well-being depends on it. You will definitely outlast any trends, so make your own!
