Meet Napualani Hall of Soulstice Collective

Today we’d like to introduce you to Napualani Hall.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was raised by a teen single mother and spent much of my early life learning how to navigate uncertainty, adversity, and change. Gymnastics became my outlet and ultimately my pathway to opportunity, leading me to earn a full scholarship to UCLA, where I became an NCAA National Champion and All-American athlete.

For most of my life, my identity was deeply tied to achievement and performance. But after a career-ending injury, I found myself facing a question many people experience at some point: Who am I when the thing I’ve always known is no longer there?

That season led me inward. I began exploring meditation, mindfulness, personal development, and holistic wellness—not as a career path, but as a way to heal. What started as a personal practice eventually became a profound transformation. I discovered sound healing during that journey and was amazed by its ability to help people slow down, reconnect with themselves, and create space for reflection in a world that often moves too fast.

In 2020, I founded Soulstice, a wellness company dedicated to helping people optimize their well-being through sound healing, mindfulness, and intentional living. What began with small community gatherings has grown into experiences for individuals, athletes, corporations, and brands including Netflix, Amazon, UCLA Athletics, the Chargers organization, and others.

Today, my work extends beyond sound baths. I’m passionate about helping people navigate identity shifts, reconnect with their purpose, and move from survival mode into self-trust and alignment. Much of my own story has been about breaking cycles, redefining success, and learning that well-being isn’t something we earn after we’ve accomplished enough—it’s the foundation that allows us to live fully in the first place.

As a founder, facilitator, and wellness advocate, my mission is to create spaces where people feel safe enough to pause, reconnect with themselves, and remember that healing, growth, and transformation are possible. Whether that’s through a sound bath, a workshop, a future course, or simply a meaningful conversation, I’m committed to helping people come home to themselves.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I wouldn’t describe it as a smooth road, but I wouldn’t change it either.

One of the biggest challenges was navigating the loss of my athletic career and the identity that came with it. For so many years, I knew exactly who I was—a gymnast, an athlete, a competitor. When that chapter ended, I had to learn how to rebuild my sense of self from the inside out.

Building a business has brought its own challenges as well. Like many entrepreneurs, I’ve experienced financial uncertainty, self-doubt, failed opportunities, last-minute cancellations, and moments where I questioned whether I was on the right path. Starting Soulstice meant learning entirely new skill sets—from marketing and sales to operations and leadership—while often being the one wearing every hat.

On a personal level, I also had to work through patterns that many first-generation cycle breakers face: perfectionism, hyper-independence, tying self-worth to achievement, and believing I always had to do everything on my own. Some of the greatest growth hasn’t come from learning how to work harder—it has come from learning how to trust myself, ask for support, and create a life that feels aligned rather than simply successful on paper.

Looking back, every challenge ultimately pointed me toward the work I do today. The experiences that tested me are also what allow me to connect with others who are navigating change, healing, reinvention, and personal growth. In many ways, the difficult parts of the journey became the foundation for my purpose.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Soulstice is a wellness company dedicated to helping people reconnect with themselves through sound healing, mindfulness, and intentional living. We offer immersive sound bath experiences, corporate wellness programming, workshops, retreats, crystal singing bowls, and educational resources designed to support mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

While sound healing is often what first introduces people to our work, what we’re really creating are opportunities for people to slow down, regulate their nervous systems, cultivate self-awareness, and reconnect with what matters most. Whether I’m facilitating a corporate wellness experience for a team, leading a community sound bath, or developing educational content, the intention is the same: to create meaningful experiences that support lasting well-being.

What sets Soulstice apart is the perspective I bring to the work. My background as a UCLA National Champion gymnast and All-American athlete allows me to bridge worlds that are often viewed separately—performance and presence, achievement and well-being, science and spirituality. I understand firsthand what it feels like to navigate pressure, burnout, identity shifts, and major life transitions, and that experience informs everything I create.

I’m also passionate about making wellness more accessible and approachable. I believe mindfulness, meditation, and nervous system regulation shouldn’t feel intimidating or exclusive. Some of the most powerful transformations begin with simple practices that help people feel more connected to themselves.

What I’m most proud of is the community that has formed around Soulstice and the opportunity to share this work with such a diverse range of people—from professional athletes and corporate teams to individuals who may be experiencing meditation or sound healing for the very first time. Seeing people leave feeling lighter, more grounded, and more connected to themselves is incredibly meaningful.

As the brand continues to evolve, I’m excited to expand beyond in-person experiences through courses, mentorship, digital resources, and educational offerings focused on self-trust, well-being, and personal growth. My vision is to continue creating tools, experiences, and communities that help people move from survival mode into a more intentional, empowered, and fulfilling way of living.

I want readers to know that wellness doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes transformation begins with a single moment of stillness, a conscious breath, or the decision to reconnect with yourself. That’s the heart of everything we do at Soulstice.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
My biggest piece of advice is to stop waiting until you feel fully ready.

So many people delay starting because they think they need more experience, more confidence, more certifications, or a perfectly mapped-out plan. In reality, clarity often comes through action. The willingness to take the next step—even imperfectly—is what creates momentum.

I also wish I had understood earlier that success isn’t just about working harder. For a long time, I believed I had to constantly push, prove myself, and do everything on my own. Over time, I’ve learned that sustainable growth comes from building supportive relationships, trusting yourself, asking for help when you need it, and creating systems that allow you to thrive rather than burn out.

Most importantly, don’t be afraid to evolve. The person I am today, the business I’ve built, and the work I do look very different than what I originally imagined. Some of the opportunities, challenges, and detours that felt disappointing in the moment ended up leading me exactly where I needed to be.

You don’t have to have the entire path figured out. Focus on the next aligned step, stay curious, and trust that your journey will continue to unfold as you grow.
