Meet Michelle Heravi of Vii Jewelry in Beverly Hills

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Heravi.

Michelle, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started this company in the summer of 2019 as a passion project for my love of jewelry as my creative outlet and entrepreneurship. Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved wearing jewelry and using it to dress up my outfits for any occasion or as an accessory for self-expression. I believe that jewelry – whether a romantic gift, a family heirloom, or gift to yourself – has the power to make people feel beautiful, loved, proud, and so much more. When I had some downtime to take on my own entrepreneurial project, there was no doubt that it would involve jewelry. I began with contacting manufacturers and sampling different materials because quality was the one thing I valued above all. I wanted my product to be trustworthy, elegant, and suitable for various occasions.

As a college student, I understood the struggle of not having much time to get ready before big events and I wanted my jewelry to efficient, cute, and of the best possible quality. I spent many months customizing, detailing, and sampling products to ensure that each piece was an accurate representation of the dedication I put into the whole project. Next, I designed the website for easy browsing and efficient check-out. After everything was complete, we officially launched on December 6, 2019!

Has it been a smooth road?
There were definitely obstacles along the way, but because I was so passionate about what I was starting and working on, I enjoyed the whole process. I was expecting obstacles, as this was a complete learning experience for me as well. I did not correctly anticipate how long it would take to perfect an inventory, but it was worth it because each piece I share is a direct reflection of my vision and passion for the brand. I also had very minimal knowledge of building a retail website from scratch, but my experience constructing the website for Vii taught me so much. I feel like the obstacles I faced just made the whole company and project all the more special.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Vii Jewelry – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
The main “motto” Vii Jewelry lives by is “elegance and quality, always and forever”. I found this company in 2019, but for the 20 years of my life prior to the launch, I was solely a customer of other brands. I know the terrible feeling of being excited about a new purchase, only to have it break, tear, or rust soon after purchasing the item. For this reason, I value quality and customer service above all, starting from the manufacturing stage through the entire process up until retail.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
My absolute favorite thing about LA is the diversity of cultures and creativity. There is no single job or profession that defines Los Angeles; rather, it is a city where individuals with such different passions can all flourish. I think that this diversity fosters acceptance, passion, and dedication. My least favorite thing about Los Angeles is that there are so many individuals in the city that are struggling while so many are reaching incredible heights. We have a large homeless population that we, as a city, need to address immediately and I have hope that in the near future, we can all come together and make this city an even better place.
