Meet Kieran Paquia of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kieran Paquia.

Hi Kieran, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always grown up around music – my dad taught me how to play basic guitar chords and he would always be playing music off of speakers that he built. I fell in love with music on a personal level in middle school when I joined band class. I started singing in 8th grade because of an AJ Rafael video I watched. I’ve always dabbled in songwriting but didn’t truly fall in love with it until junior year in college where a girl i matched with on tinder asked me to write her a song in 5 minutes. I did it and ended up jumping down the rabbit hole of songwriting.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all. I met my main collaborators in College, and just as we were building momentum, we got slapped with COVID and we all got split up.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a singer, songwriter, and producer. I mainly do RnB and Pop music. I still have much to achieve, but I am extremely proud of my growth as an artist. I think the thing that sets anyone apart is their ability to draw uniquely from their lives and inspirations.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success is variable, If i can make a living off of music, I’d say im successful. Equally, if i can make a song or album that is undeniable, I’d say i was successful
