Today we’d like to introduce you to Khang Nguyen.
Khang, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I am a visual artist, graduate student, and yoga teacher/practitioner. Currently, I am a Ph.D. student in Eastern and Western philosophy at Claremont Graduate University. To be more specific, I study the nondual tradition in the East, the dialectical tradition in the West, and postmodern philosophy. I want to bridge these distinct traditions by showing their commonality, but at the same time respect their irreducible differences.
The philosophical and spiritual insights acquired from my investigation are integrated into visual art. My artwork investigates the nature of being, time, liberation, totality, wholeness, knowledge, perception, consciousness, and so on.
