Today we’d like to introduce you to Keri Ann Kimball.
Keri Ann, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
As a child, I was enamored with Hollywood I loved to perform, sing and create stories for my family and friends. I lived in my own creative world of characters and at a very young age, I began to write out my imaginative creations and preform for myself and anyone else who would watch. After High School, I started training at San Francisco’s renowned A.C.T. and then transferred to Tisch School of Arts at New York University studying Theatre at Circle in the Square and Film at NYU.
I then started working with The Gage Group as an actress and appeared in both film and national television productions for a few years. Later I found my true calling and passion in producing Independent film and helped to cast five successful motion pictures, starring Oscar-winning actress, Marisa Tomei, and Oscar-nominated and Emmy winning actor Thomas Haden Church.
In 1999, Keri Ann Kimball was named one of the entertainment industry’s most significant producers in Allure Magazine’s “Hollywood of the New Millennium”, later she went on to work as the Partner & Producer at Zephyr Ent., Vice President of CRE8inc & CRE8 Film, President of Freya Films & TV, CEO of K Productions, a Music Management company specializing in developing & managing young music talent, VP of Business Development at DMI Music, President of a Predominate Independent Film & TV Production House in the heart of Hollywood and most recently COO of a renowned Hollywood PR firm.
I then decided to launched my own Entertainment Company, Kimball Entertainment. Kimball Entertainment is an entertainment company with expertise in production consulting, which also manages writers and directors. We have a business development team as well as content creation for TV, film and new media platforms. Since its founding, Kimball Entertainment has produced an exceptional amount of groundbreaking material. Our repertoire includes a wide variety of projects including scripted and non-scripted; drama and comedy.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I have found the Hollywood Industry to be a roller coaster ride of ups and downs. When I was younger, I took these “ups and downs” personally I now know these “bumps in the road” are part of life and part of the Industry. I choose to see them as challenges and they have taught me to have patience and faith in my journey.

Kimball Entertainment is the parent company to K-Star PR an entertainment company with expertise in talent and brand management. We assist clients with brand and business development as well as content. We provide management services that utilize partnerships and alliances to expose clients to all areas of the entertainment business. Our growing management sphere represents a range of talent including writers, directors, and actors for film, television, and multi-media.
What sets Kimball Entertainment apart is my passion for telling stories based on real people and real-life stories. Some of these stories are enhanced for dramatic purposes but most of my work is based on real events and real people. I am most proud that my company is still standing, I have seen many people and companies in Hollywood come and go but I have survived over the years and I believe persistence and passion is the key to success in Hollywood.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My future plans for Kimball Entertainment are to give more women in the Entertainment Industry a stronger voice. I’d love to work with women directors and women writers to empower the female voice in the Hollywood Industry and hire more female actors of all ages. In the near future Kimball Entertainment will have its own funding and only need to seek outside services for distribution of its content.
