Today we’d like to introduce you to Kathy Tsai.
Hi Kathy, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started Petique back in the Summer of 2017. I had opportunities to visit manufacturers to learn how they build strollers and other products. I’ve loved animals my whole life! At one point, I wanted a huge piece of land, a sanctuary for pets! I’ve worked closely with people who have the same mission as me, to create products that are non-toxic and safe for the planet. That’s how Petique, Inc. started. A company that helps create products that help the planet and pets!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
There have been struggles along the way, like creating a great team, communicating clearly, and learning how to be a good leader. I had to do a lot of research and seminars to learn all that! I’m constantly learning and growing!

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I see more pet parents using strollers because they can travel and go on more walks and exercises with their pets! More sustainable and food-grade pet products.
