Today we’d like to introduce you to Jonathan Williams Margaritakis.
Tanja (healthy food advocate), David Subotic (finance guru), Jonathan Williams Margaritakis (Greek villager raised) give birth to the concept.
The idea was determined by the rapid growth and success of the Greek yogurt inside retail chains throughout the U.S, In addition the dynamic expansion of yogurt retail stores in comparison to ice cream shops.
We decided to bring a healthy, sweet, savory option of Greek fresh & frozen yogurt in Beverly Hills. The locals absolutely loved it! and very quickly the name spread into the town, “there’s a new kid on the block” (452 Bedford drive).
Everybody wanted Go Greek in the neighborhood until today, we have six locations and looking to grow locally and nationally.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Growing a business is not a walk into the park, there are daily challenges small and big. Biggest challenge was finding the right people that shared the same passion. We had to go through numerous people to find the right candidates that can share our vision and believe in the product and most importantly our brand.
Importing yogurt and perishable products from Greece is the main cause of creating the best flavor America has ever tasted, however the challenges of international trade can be tricky, our product has to go through and inspected by several third parties until it can be delivered to us and for that reason it can cause delays, regulation complexity, which can affect the operations of our stores.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Go Greek Yogurt – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Go Greek Yogurteria is a Greek yogurt bar that sells Greek fresh yogurt and Greek frozen yogurt with fresh local – tropical cut fruits/vegetables delivered on a daily basis, along with superfoods/nuts as side topping’s imported authentically. We also offer Greek honey and delicious Greek jams that are all used in our menu for our customers which they can pick and choose and customize their yogurt cup as they desire.
Our concept nature covers breakfast, lunch and desert which sets us apart from most concepts within our desert destination in our field. We are a strictly healthy alternative option that promotes a healthy living lifestyle through gastronomy options.
We are proud of becoming aware in many continents all over the world and many celebrities love and consume our brand, we are the “Rolls Royce of Yogurts.”
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Taking this concept nationally and globally is on our to-do list.
