Meet Jessi Jae Joplin of Manifest Party Foundation

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessi Jae Joplin.

Hi Jessi Jae , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Music has always been my anchor. I started out DJing, writing songs, and throwing parties that felt more like immersive experiences than just shows. Over time, that vision expanded into everything I do now: performing, directing my own music videos, acting, and running my company, which includes my event brand Manifest Party, my sustainable fashion line Fab Stains, and my nonprofit Manifest Party Foundation. At the core, my mission has always been to merge music, fashion, and community into unforgettable spaces where people feel seen, empowered, and inspired. It’s been a journey of trusting my voice, betting on myself, and turning my wildest ideas into reality.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been a smooth road—nothing worth building ever is. As an independent artist and entrepreneur, I’ve had to create opportunities from scratch and fund my own visions. When resources were limited, it pushed me to be more innovative and resourceful. Instead of waiting for permission, I learned to do everything myself—producing music, directing videos, designing clothes. Those challenges gave me my edge and shaped the energy people feel in my work today.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Manifest Party Foundation is the nonprofit arm of everything I’ve built—a way to channel the energy of my events and creativity into real community impact. We create immersive cultural experiences that center underrepresented voices, especially Black women in music, fashion, and art. What makes us unique is how we merge nightlife, fashion, and community service in a way that feels joyful, inclusive, and unforgettable. I’m most proud that what began as underground DIY parties has evolved into a platform with a clear purpose. Manifest Party Foundation is more than entertainment—it’s about creating spaces that heal, inspire, and uplift while celebrating the power of creativity.

What are your plans for the future?
The future is all about expansion. I’m finishing my album and rolling out more music videos that I’ve directed and starred in. Manifest Party Foundation will keep building programs that empower young creatives and uplift underrepresented voices. The big picture is simple: to keep creating worlds that inspire, heal, and celebrate culture.
