Jennifer has worked in the design industry since 1990 as a Visual Stylist, Set Designer, Fine Artist, Design Consultant and Interior Designer. She started her business in 2004 in San Diego and has since relocated to Los Angeles. Jennifer is dedicated to client satisfaction and will bring you the latest materials to enhance your lifestyle and endure for years to come.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Relocating to a new city during the peak of the recession of 2009 was a major challenge. I was married at the time and relocated for my husband’s job. Another challenge was staying optimistic after my divorce in 2012. Confidence and positivity are important to any designer’s success and it can create obstacles if either of these are shaken up.
Please tell us about Anatomy Of Style.
Anatomy Of Style specializes in custom, eco-friendly, contemporary and modern residential interior design. The business offers a wide selection of services including: space-planning, color consulting, procurement of furnishings and artwork, real estate staging, project management and remodels for both homes and businesses.
We help clients uncover their vision which is often unclear. Creating original, customized designs for each client- never cookie-cutter solutions. Every paint color and fabric is selected because it reflects the client’s personality, the architecture of the home and the general vibe which is trying to express itself. Although we lean towards modern, our aim is to have the overall style be a personal reflection of the client.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Designing props for my sister’s Barbie doll play theater.
