Meet Jeff Cronin of Jeff the Baby Dude in San Fernando Valley

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeff Cronin.

So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I first started Jeff the Baby Dude after my son was born. During the pregnancy, my wife would show me countless baby product reviews of things she thought we needed. Every review we watched was lead by women. While they were helpful, I found it hard to relate to them as a new dad. I searched for other dad’s who reviewed baby products and couldn’t really find anything. That’s when I had the idea of starting, Jeff the Baby Dude. I’ve been doing it now for about a year and I’m having a lot of fun with it. I love giving a different perspective on baby products on YouTube and Instagram.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
So far, I feel like it’s been a smooth-ish road. The biggest struggle so far is doing this while having a small child and having a full-time job. Finding the time to create, edit and post is time-consuming. Though it’s fun!

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Jeff the Baby Dude – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
Jeff the Baby Dude is about reviewing baby products from a Dad’s point of view. I find unique baby products to review that make parenting as easy as possible. From strollers and baby bottles to baby food and bath toys. I think it’s important to have something that Dads can relate to. I’m most proud of helping parents and having them come to me with questions. I’m also proud of the connections I’ve made with Dad groups across Los Angeles. With my reviews, I try my hardest to be thorough, yet get to the point as I know other parents are busy. I’m just an average Dad hoping to help other parents.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
In the future, I would like to be the go-to Dad on product reviews. I’d also like to start Dad groups to bring Dad’s together to share parenting tips, beers and food.
