Meet Jason and Fibi of WaGogi in Vernon

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason and Fibi.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
WaGogi is a company that specializes in Wagyu and most likely is the wholesaler for many of your favorite Korean BBQ spots (as well as butcher shops!). Due to Covid-19, we wanted to make our Wagyu accessible for the public to enjoy in the comfort of your own home!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
When we first started Wagogi, we wanted to cater to the individuals who wanted the Korean BBQ experience during the pandemic. Due to everyone’s favorite Korean BBQ restaurants facing closures, we were able to provide our Korean BBQ boxes to the public at this time.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the WaGogi story. Tell us more about the business.
Jason: Jason is the Assistant Operations Manager. He ensures the flow of traffic on deliveries and goods received so that our customers can enjoy an easy purchasing experience.

Fibi: Fibi is our Production Supervisor. Ensuring that each box meets the standards and quality to pass USDA.
