Meet Huong Nguyen of Heartlab Beauty in West Hills

Today we’d like to introduce you to Huong Nguyen.

Huong, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My two greatest priorities in life have always been to constantly be creating and to better the lives of others in any small way that I can. After three years of working in corporate fashion and feeling disconnected from those two priorities, I took a leap of faith. I quit my desk job and Heartlab Beauty was born.

Heartlab Beauty allows me to constantly meet and engage with wonderful and kind clients who’s days I get to make better by giving them beautiful lash extensions and 3D feather brows. Every set is an artistic creation to me and completely customized to each client’s liking. The best part of my profession is that it is a perfect marriage of my love for creating art, and connects me with the wonderful people who I get to call my clients.

Since day one, I have built my business on principles of affordable luxury, top of the line service, and superior customer service. I am grateful that this journey has taken me this far, and I look forward to continuing to share my beauty work with others in my community.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
This road has always felt natural, and the progression has also felt that way but it has not always been easy. When I am not physically working on beauty services for my clients, I am tirelessly searching for new beauty trends and products to offer them. I am constantly yearning to better my business and provide my clients with the best experience possible.

With that said, I am very satisfied with where this hunger has taken my business and the current services that I do get to offer now. Even when things get rough, I am reminded of how lucky I am to get to work with the best clients on the planet doing what I absolutely love.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Heartlab Beauty story. Tell us more about the business.
Heartlab Beauty is a beauty boutique that provides lash extension services and 3D brow microblading. With both services, Heartlab is known for specialized and detailed work with results that always look NATURAL no matter how dramatic clients like to go.

I am most proud of the lives that the 3D brow microblading has been able to change and make better by giving more defined brows to those who have always yearned for nice brows. I am also proud of all of the courageous moms, nurses, and others whose busy lives are simplified by having the lash extensions on.

We are set apart by our sincere love of each one of our clients and our insatiable hunger to provide the highest quality beauty services for them.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I have often felt that good luck has been sprinkled onto my path during different phases of starting and operating Heartlab Beauty. From the kind souls that I meet to those clients who I get to service, the friendships I have made from beautifying these clients consistently over long periods of time, and how naturally these services seem to come to me in terms of skill. I think the ultimate lucky aspect of it all is that I was granted an innate PASSION for this line of work, and have sought out the road to see that through as a career.
