Hi Eloise, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
At one part of time in my life. I experienced addiction and homelessness over 26 yrs ago. Once, the Lord came into my life and turned it around. He gave me the instructions in 2013 to be a blessing to his people GP, stands for God’s People. The instructions was to help out give to those in need or homelessness. By, being a blessing and passing out Basic Necessities and Warm Clothing, Non perishable food was placed on my heart and others. We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road always. We struggle sometimes to keep up financially, but! The Lord has continually provided for us by allowing us to receive donations, grants and partnerships.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I work in the medical industry, I’m a PBX Operator at a Community Hospital in Long Beach. I’m also the
Founder for a 501(3) C Nonprofit Organization, GP Carepackages and Blankets of Love located in the City of Long Beach and surrounding areas. I’m most proud of the accomplishment of making a difference in many people’s lives. We have many volunteers, donors or recipients of our Carepackages, they all come together to make a difference, by putting our Carepackages together or financially contribute or been able to be a recipient of the Carepackages. All of our team members are set apart because in the kingdom of God. we are all called by the Lord to do his work here on earth and we show people that they are loved and not forgotten and we give him all the glory
What does success mean to you?
I define success by seeing and being able to
make a difference or by seeing a positive impact that we have bern able to make in our community, bringing joy to others lives and seeing a smile to someone else, is success
