Eileen Isagholian

Hi Eileen, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
How much time do we have? Just kidding. I always had an entrepreneurial mindset since I was a little girl. The best role model who set this mindset in motion is my Dad. Growing up I was very close to my Dad, I was his tail following him around everywhere, absorbing his business intellect. He would take me to work several times a week where I had firsthand exposure to the layers of entrepreneurship. Being the first born to an immigrant family, there is a distinct different level of maturity responsibility; and this bleeds into all aspects of life, especially business. I have owned several successful businesses where life experiences have always been incorporated. I love the rush of that first spark of an idea which is watered nurtured until it blooms. The feeling is electrifying watching an idea come to fruition.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
“Along with great power comes great responsibility.” My purpose in life has lead me down difficult bumpy roads. Definitely not a smooth road. But what doesn’t break you, makes you stronger. I am a firm believer “God gives His toughest battles to His strongest soldiers.” The biggest obstacle has been navigating through loss & grief. Loss & grief know no boundaries. They weave into every fiber of your being, in every nook cranny of life. In a span of a couple years, I was left to deal with the sudden loss of my only sibling, and the loss of my marriage. You never “get over it” but you try to get thru it. Big difference. I am an optimist through through. The cup is half full. If my journey, my story can bring comfort &/or healing to 1 person, that’s the payout for my lived experience. When asked “how did/do you get through it all?” My answer is HOPE. Always have hope. Desmond Tutu said it best “Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness.” One of the greatest aspects of hope is no matter how much hope you give away, it doesn’t deplete your own supply. In my pursuit of deeper healing & helping, I’m in talks to launch a podcast. Make sure to follow me to be up to date on developments! Organic collective healing at its best!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
In the past few years I got into the insurance industry. Before that, I owned a beauty salon, which was another small business which shut down because of the COVID pandemic. Pondering what my next steps, I stumbled upon the insurance industry. While at the gym, on the treadmill, the gentleman next to me struck up a conversation, the rest is history! He owned an agency, saw my personality & drive was a great fit, so I was recruited at his agency! I’m most proud of my resilience integrity. I have 2 boys whom I cherish. I will never allow them to see their Mama down. They know I will always be their rock & stability. Again, my resilience, integrity, & empathy set me apart from others. The level of service I provide is unmatched. It’s all about the “little things”; remembering details such as client birthdays, kids names, stories shared, etc.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
Biggest lesson learned is be prepared at all times for the worst. Have a nest egg for such emergencies. Always have a Plan B, C, D. Look out for yourself. Secure yourself financially. Covid-19 brought out the best AND worst in humanity. People were forced to reevaluate their lives their priorities in life.
