Meet Danielle Cooper of Wild Card

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Cooper.

Danielle, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Our desire to be unique individuals is an effort to wear our history, our culture, our inner creativity on our sleeve. I graduated from the Miami Int’l University of Art and Design with a B.F.A in Fashion Design and the pursuit of this desire.

After graduation, traveling gave me the insight and drive for new innovative ideas, passions and perspectives. Even traveling around the world, I fell in love with the islands of the Caribbean, it’s vibrant people, it’s explosion of creative cultures blended into its Carnival, and the use of materials and techniques to create beautiful pieces of wearable artwork. Combining this with experience, the inspiration for Omos was born. Created to be an expression of vitality, individuality, and that creative energy that we all share. Omos are themselves personal pieces of art that can accentuate any person, emotion, mood, and spirit.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I am not at the point in my career that I can say that I have expert advice to help the next person. But the one key thing that everyone shares when you ask is just DON’T GIVE UP. Once you give up, you’ve already failed. Every day you keep up the hustle. is another day that you could make it to that next level. It will always be a work in progress even when you believe that you made it. Aside from not giving up, never forget to say stay true to who you are. We have so much of the same thing over and over out there that anything different would bring positivity and excitement to those looking for a change.

Please tell us about Wild Card.
The name Wild Card comes from the ideology that in life, we are all fabulous, unique, souls and inspire others to show off their inner beauty as well. This is a new accessory style that not only enhances your outfit but shows your personality on your shoulders. We support individuality, boldness and the ability to not be shy about who we are. We are all beautiful and have something to share with the world. So let’s get started! You are that Wild Card in the deck of cards we call life. Play your destiny, change it, create, but always be you. “Be Unique, Be You, A Wild Card.”

O’mos the Myth
The Greeks had a belief that through their shoulders, humans were able to communicate status, love, happiness & pride. Thus, the creation of Atlas. Showing the world how one man or woman carries the universe on their shoulders. Wild Card has tapped into this mythology believing the idea that we are all unique individuals & uplift in the same mystical way. This is why Wild Card has decided to honor & create beautifully, one-of-a-kind “Omos” (The Greek word for shoulders) that represent the G-d in all of us. Wild Card visualizes your ideas and will create that one-of-a-kind, Omos, that will individualize your fashion & lifestyle.
