Today we’d like to introduce you to Chris B.
Hi Chris, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
A Story from Chris B, Resilience, Betrayal, and Legacy
From Nothing to Visionary: The Start of Chris B’s Story
Chris B’s journey didn’t begin with privilege — it began in survival mode.
“My father was never in my life. My mom was struggling and we had no money growing up,” he shares. “She battled addiction, and I grew up in a very unstable environment. There were nights we didn’t have food or electricity — but I always had a dream.”
With no resources and no real support system, Chris took the long road.
“I didn’t have connections. My so-called friends laughed at my voice and my vision. They told me it would never work. So I taught myself everything.” Explains Chris B.
He saved up to buy his first pieces of studio equipment, learned how to record, mix, and produce music on his own, and built a platform from scratch.
Chris B says, “I wasn’t handed anything. I built it all from the ground up — every lyric, every beat, every video.”
What started in silence and doubt has grown into a voice heard by millions. And it all began with belief — not from others, but from within.
Living with Blindness: The Diagnosis That Changed Everything
What many people don’t realize is that Chris B is legally blind — a reality he didn’t even know himself growing up.
“Back in elementary school, I kept telling my teacher, Miss Kapsin, that I couldn’t see the board,” he recalls. “She thought I was being a class clown and would send me to the office. Even when she moved me to the front of the class, I still couldn’t see — but no one ever thought to test my eyes. Instead, they kept testing how I talked. just because I couldn’t say my ‘R’s correctly ”
Years went by without answers, until one moment as a teenager changed everything,” Chris explains, “My sister asked me to read a billboard one day, and I couldn’t. That’s when she took me to an eye doctor, and I was finally diagnosed.”
Chris was told he had Keratoconus, a degenerative eye disease, along with a torn retina. The diagnosis came with a harsh reality: over time, his vision would continue to deteriorate, and there’s no guaranteed cure.
“I was told I could eventually go completely blind,” he shares. “There’s no laser correction for it.”
To function day to day, Chris has to wear hard gas-permeable contact lenses — a type of lens that creates extreme discomfort but is the only way he can see at all.
“They cause pain almost every day, but it’s the only option. I can’t wear glasses — my vision is too far gone for them to help.” says Chris.
Even with that weight on his shoulders, Chris never stopped building.
“It strains my eyes every day, but I don’t let it stop me. I taught myself how to record, edit, film, and perform — all while barely being able to see. That’s why I never take anything for granted. If anything, it made me more determined to prove what’s possible and achieve my dream before the day comes, I am unable to.”
Focused on Betrayal & Resilience
Today we’d like to introduce you to Chris B.
“I was betrayed by my own family. Lied to by people I considered close friends.
They smiled in my face… and stabbed me in the back.”
That’s not a script — it’s the real story behind Chris B’s new documentary, The Story of Chris B. Even though it feels like the whole world is against you, if you don’t give up you can make anything possible or a dream come true!
After years of heartbreak, loss, and digital suppression, Chris didn’t fold — he built an empire.
He turned every broken promise into a blueprint for success.
Now with over 250 million views, verified music across all major platforms, original films on Tubi and Roku, and a loyal following, he’s finally telling the story that too many people tried to silence.
In this interview, we go behind the music, beyond the betrayal, and into the mind of a creator who refused to quit…
Early Industry Recognition: XXL HipHop Weekly & Strange Music Collab
At the beginning of his career, Chris B was already making waves — landing official features in both HipHop Weekly and XXL Magazine. His XXL spotlight wasn’t just a digital mention — it hit Barnes & Noble stores across the U.S., giving Chris national visibility in one of hip-hop’s most respected publications.
Around that same time, he also collaborated with Strange Music, one of the most influential independent labels in the game, known for launching powerhouse artists and pushing creative boundaries.
These early moments set the tone for Chris B’s path forward: industry respect, major co-signs, and a relentless independent drive that hasn’t slowed down since.
Independent Wins: From Streaming Checks to Sunset Stage
Back in 2018, Chris B proved that independence can still pay off — literally. One of his self-released songs brought in over $72,000, a major moment that showed what can happen when vision meets hustle.
“That track changed my life,” he says. “It reminded me that I didn’t need a label to win — just strategy and heart.”
Since then, his music has continued to gain traction — including being played on, All In Radio, by Gary Archer, in Oakland, California. A respected platform known for spotlighting real talent on the rise.
Most recently, Chris performed live at the legendary Whisky a Go Go on Hollywood’s iconic Sunset Blvd, opening up for RBL Posse, delivering an unforgettable performance to a packed crowd. But it’s not just the music or milestones that define him — it’s the energy he brings.
“Anywhere I go, I bring positivity to the room,” Chris shares. “People feel it. I’ve had artists tell me they were ready to quit — but after meeting me, after seeing how driven I am, they left inspired to keep going.”
Whether it’s in the studio, on stage, or just one-on-one, Chris B continues to lead by example — turning pain into power and hustle into hope.
The Rise: Building in the Shadows
Chris B didn’t have a powerful label backing him. He didn’t come from industry connections or a famous last name. What he had was raw talent, relentless work ethic, and a story no one could erase.
When others were getting co-signs, Chris was getting overlooked. While fake friends smiled at his vision, they talked behind his back — but he kept filming, writing, editing, and producing.
“I had to become my own studio,” he says. “Music, film, story — I did it all because no one else was going to hand me the opportunity.”
That independent grind turned into a movement. Chris dropped over 100 original songs, gained verified artist status on Spotify and Apple Music, and began directing his own films — starring in them, scoring them, and producing from top to bottom.
Fighting Digital Suppression: The Chris B vs. The Algorithm Battle
Behind all the music, movies, and milestones, there’s a silent battle Chris B has been fighting for years — one that many creators don’t talk about: digital suppression.
Despite being a verified artist with a Wikitia profile, a verified Google Knowledge Panel, and verified YouTube and Spotify accounts, along with Apple music, and Facebook verification. Chris has experienced ongoing issues with visibility across search engines — particularly Google.
“I’ve watched my search results shrink over time,” he explains. “There was a point when I had multiple pages filled with links about my verified music, press, and TV projects. Then one day… it was down to just a few. My name, my brand — buried under unrelated results.”
The issue became even more complicated due to the similarity in name with mainstream artist Chris Brown.
“I’m not trying to compete with a celebrity. I’m just asking that my verified work — my actual identity — isn’t buried or erased. I’ve done the work. I’ve earned my place in search.” says Chris B.
Chris has even released full articles and video documentation highlighting the suppression he’s faced, showing visual proof of how his presence was reduced, sometimes within days of gaining momentum.
“It’s not about ego” explains Chris B, ”It’s about digital identity. When you’ve spent years building something authentic, and people still can’t find you — that’s not just frustrating. That’s erasure.”
And yet, through it all, Chris keeps creating.
“The algorithm didn’t build me, so it can’t break me,” he says. “I’ll keep documenting. I’ll keep speaking out. And I’ll keep building platforms they can’t suppress.”
Streaming Success & Viral Fame
Chris’s storytelling struck a nerve. Relocating to Maine for 3 years, creating both, The Berry Farm Chicken Cabin, his unscripted Tubi series blending comedy, family, and sustainable living, became a cult favorite. The Lost Elf on Christmas landed on Roku and was screened at WonderCon 2025 after relocating back to California in 2024. On social media, his videos exploded — some reaching tens of millions of views in days.
He wasn’t just creating content. He was reclaiming space in a digital world that had tried to bury him.
Viral Reach, Global Impact & Full Control
One of Chris B’s top videos hit a staggering 52 million views and generated over $50,000 in revenue through Facebook alone. Major platforms noticed. LADBible shared his viral clip, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson even shared Chris B’s clip to his official Instagram promoting his Teremana Tequila, Reposado— amplifying Chris’s message on a global level.
But this wasn’t a lucky break — it was built. Chris became his own manager, PR team, talent agent, editor, producer, and strategist.
“If no one’s going to give me a chance, I’ll create my own,” Chris says. “And I’m going to inspire a whole generation to do the same.”
That determination turned him into a red carpet regular. From film festivals to exclusive Hollywood events, Chris now shows up not as someone hoping to get in — but as someone invited.
He’s always seeking the next big opportunity — and if it doesn’t exist, he’ll build it from scratch.
Award Recognition: Turning Art into Impact
Chris B’s work hasn’t just gone viral — it’s earned awards.
From indie showcases to major film festivals, he’s been recognized for his originality, creative independence, and powerful storytelling. The Lost Elf on Christmas, screened at BOM Film Festival 2024 at the London hotel in West Hollywood, hitting the dazzling red carpet, and being interviewed by paparazzi and press, like the multi-award winning show, Right on LA, with Ruby Lovell. Also the film was being screened across the world at Sophia Film Festival in Bulgaria 2025, and winning awards through Milestone International Film Festival in India as best Director, Actor and producer. Receiving acclaim for its emotional core and imaginative charm — a standout in family-friendly cinema.
“Every award is a reminder that people see me now — and they see the work,” Chris says. “After being shut out for so long, that means everything.”
Giving Back: Heart Behind the Hustle
Despite facing personal betrayal and digital suppression, Chris has always kept his heart focused on helping others. This year, he proudly co-sponsored, The Bunny Ball 2025 — a charity cruise and toy drive for children. Through the event, over 1,500 stuffed bunnies were collected and donated to under privileged kids in need for Easter.
“Supporting the Bunny Ball meant something personal,” Chris says. “I know what it feels like to be forgotten. This was a way to make sure someone else didn’t have to feel that way — even for one night.”
Power Player Recognition: Amare Magazine Feature
Chris was recently honored in Amaré Magazine’s 10th Anniversary Power Players issue, joining influential figures like Mike O’Hearn, Natalie Eva Marie, Teresa Giudice, and others shaping today’s creative and entrepreneurial landscape.
The event also honored Danny Trejo with the AMARÉ ICON Award — and Chris B stood proudly among the celebrated next generation.
“This was more than just an article — it was validation,” Chris shares. “It reminded me I’m no longer being overlooked.”
Finding the Right People: A New Circle of Support
“The entertainment industry, when you find the right spaces, opens doors to amazing people who genuinely want to see you win,” Chris says.
After years of betrayal and silence, Chris finally found his circle — loyal, like-minded people who uplift, collaborate, and believe in the mission.
“I’m not walking this road alone anymore — and that’s what makes it even more powerful.”
Expanding the Story: Kids’ Christmas Book & Digital Animation
Chris B’s creativity isn’t confined to screens — it now lives on bookshelves at the libraries.
His family-friendly movie, The Lost Elf on Christmas, inspired a self-published children’s book, now available on Amazon. From that story, Chris also launched a matching stuffed animal and a brand-new digital animated remake — one that brings characters to life in magical, emotional ways.
“It’s not just a Christmas story,” Chris says. “It’s something families can feel. This is for the kids who dream — and the adults who never stopped.”
Unmatched Drive, Expanding Empire
Chris B’s vision keeps growing.
He recently launched his own clothing line on Amazon, further building his brand and expanding his creative empire. In addition to his upcoming documentary, The Story of Chris B, a scripted movie version is now in development — transforming his personal journey into a full cinematic experience.
His work continues to attract film festival attention, media interviews, red carpet appearances, and acting roles — including a part in the upcoming film, The Narcissist.
In an industry where envy and negativity often run rampant, Chris proves that staying focused on your goals is the ultimate answer.
“You can’t let hate slow you down,” he says. “When you give your energy to growth instead of doubt — that’s when everything changes.”
What’s Next?
The Story of Chris B — the documentary and the movement — is a reclamation of everything they tried to silence.
It covers his pain, his rise, the suppression he endured, and the mission that now drives him. With new music, films, public appearances, and a global audience behind him, Chris B is no longer waiting for permission.
He’s building the future his way — and inspiring thousands to do the same. Chris B cherishes to help others guide and teach them along the way with open arms and a caring heart.
“I want to see others succeed along the way, not just myself.” says Chris B.
Final Thoughts
If you’ve ever felt silenced or betrayed — I see you. I was you.
But I promise: your pain has power. And when you own your truth, no one can take it from you
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not a smooth road — but every bump taught me something valuable.
I’ve been betrayed by people I considered close — including family and longtime friends. People I trusted turned out to be working against me. That kind of pain hits different, especially when you’re trying to build something meaningful.
On top of that, I’ve faced years of digital suppression. Even with verified accounts, millions of views, and major projects released, my presence has been buried online. At one point, my verified Google Knowledge Panel was literally removed or replaced — and despite having a trademark and proof of identity, my name often gets overshadowed by someone else’s content. It’s been an ongoing battle just to be seen and recognized for the work I’ve done.
But instead of letting it break me, I used it as fuel. I kept creating, kept building — from writing and producing films to releasing music and telling my story on my own terms. Every obstacle became part of the foundation I’m standing on now.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We’d love to learn more about your work — what do you do, what do you specialize in, what are you known for, etc.? What are you most proud of? What sets you apart from others?
I’m a multifaceted creator — a musician, filmmaker, director, writer, and digital storyteller. I’ve released over 100 original songs, published two books on Amazon, directed multiple films, and even built a TV series from the ground up, The Berry Farm Chicken Cabin, which streams on Tubi. My Christmas movie, The Lost Elf on Christmas, is on Roku, and I’ve been featured on major platforms like LADBible, No Jumper, and FoodPorn — with over 250 million views across my content.
I specialize in bringing ideas to life across multiple mediums — music, film, social media, and storytelling. Whether I’m writing a script, producing a music video, or editing a documentary, I’m hands-on with every part of the creative process. I don’t just show up — I build from scratch.
What I’m most proud of is that I never quit. I’ve stayed independent, self-funded, and creative despite every obstacle thrown my way — from betrayal to digital suppression. I turned pain into purpose, and now I get messages from people saying I inspired them to chase their dreams. That means everything to me.
What sets me apart is my drive and authenticity. I don’t follow formulas — I create my own lanes. Anywhere I go, I bring positivity to the room. People feel that energy. I motivate others just by being real and showing them what’s possible when you don’t give up.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
The creative industry is evolving faster than ever — especially with the rise of AI, independent platforms, and direct-to-audience models. Over the next 5 to 10 years, I see a massive shift toward creator-owned content. People aren’t waiting around for gatekeepers anymore — they’re building their own lanes, producing their own shows, and connecting with audiences directly through social media and streaming platforms.
AI will play a bigger role in music, film, animation, and even editing — but I believe it’ll separate those who create with heart from those who just generate content. The human touch — the story, the message, the emotion — will matter more than ever.
We’re also going to see more crossover creators — people who rap, act, direct, and design — all under one brand. That’s already happening, and I’m proud to be part of that wave. I think audiences are craving authenticity, versatility, and purpose.
Personally, I’m building toward a fully independent creative empire — one that blends entertainment, impact, and innovation. And I believe the future belongs to those who stay real, stay consistent, and stay connected to the people.
