Today we’d like to introduce you to Brenda Garcia.

Hi Brenda, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started in the insurance industry circa 2007. I was introduced to it by my father, he would visit a small insurance office in the city of Whittier where he had his vehicle insured. That office was always very busy, it was the peak of insurance demand. He suggested to the owner multiple times that she needed help and had someone in mind (me). And just like that after a few tries, he conviced her. She asked him to have me to come in for an interview. With zero experience, but fasinated with her Sassy husstle I started working for this agent. She introduced me and trained me to sell and underwrite insurance. Since, the insurance field got a hold of me.
Insurance and taxes go hand in hand, a multiservice office is convenient and have become almost a nessecity in every neighborhood.
From one agency to another in 2011 I was Introduced to tax preparation and fell in love with it. In 2018 I took a leap of faith in myself and opened my own insurance and tax agency. In the area of North Long Beach. Although we were able to survive the pandemic. As of today we only offer Tax Preparation Services. Tax Preparation and Business Services have become my niche. I am one proud latina serving other latino entrepreneurs in launching their dreams and running their own businesses.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has not been east, for myself starting the business was the easy part. Keeping it open was the real challenge. Definitely staying afloat through a pandemic has been the biggest challenge. But along there has also been investments in the business that have not resulted in a win. Having to close a brick and mortar to run solely virtually was also an unforeseen event. But eventually all of these bumps on the road have helped me gain experiences that I can now share with my own clients.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are a tax preparation agency, serving individuals, self employed and small businesses with their tax needs. We also offer business formations and consultation for entrepreneurs starting with their own business. We also offer continued plannification and business consulting services for those who have been focused on the husstle instead of legalities.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
My business leads with honesty. It is our mission to gain a clients trust and continue to serve them for many years to come. We offer individualized attention to each client. Which has lead our business to be built solely by referrals. Our pricing is transparent and do not over promise.

• All consultations are free. We do not charge for either a business formation or tax consultation.
• We offer a $50 flat tax preparation fee for all students and new tax filers.
