Meet ARYIEL of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to ARYIEL.

Hi ARYIEL, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I grew up in a house full of people who either performed music professionally, or performed as their favorite hobby. Specifically, having a bass player as a dad makes it very difficult to not fall in love with music as an art form. Singing was my thing, though — my first love. Singing is why I write and why I produce music to share with everyone. This career was always a part of the plan.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I’m still so early on in my career, so I haven’t experienced the depths of hell yet. Thank goodness! I’ve had many learning moments though. I’ve learned that while music is best created with collaboration, you can’t wait on anyone. You have to take action on strict terms because the dream belongs to you. Work with people that what to build their dream alongside yours. I’ve had the blessing of working with like-minded musicians, and my work is better for it.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
As a recording artist, I make Pop-R&B music, but when it’s time to do background vocals or write with other songwriters, the genre limit doesn’t exist. I also dance, so performance is an art to me. I regularly perform in the LA area, and I’m so grateful for all of the supporters my shows have connected me to. They keep me motivated on the stage and in the studio!

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
Upon rebranding and changing my name from ARIEL to ARYIEL, I just released my single, “No More”. It’s the start of a new beginning. An honest beginning, a human beginning. Having it placed in Tidal’s top editorial R&B playlist, ‘R&B Love: Best New R&B’ was the honor of a lifetime.
