Meet Anna Elyse of los angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anna Elyse.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Thank you so much for having me! I’ve always wanted to write and release my own songs, but it took a while for me to feel like I had all the information to do so. I went to UCLA and was accepted into their creative writing, poetry concentration, in my free time I would intern at different recording studios. After graduating UCLA, I went on to attend SAE Institute and graduated from their audio engineering program. I worked behind the scenes in recording studios for a while, but it wasn’t until a few years back that I fully committed to releasing my own stuff. It’s been a whirlwind of learning and new experiences. I’m right where I want to be. It feels like destiny. But, I definitely took my time learning the ins and outs before jumping straight in.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Honestly, I don’t think about it like that. My journey outside of music has had more trials and tribulations. When it comes to my music, I just enjoy doing it so much that no matter what happens, I forge ahead. I’m the same way in life too, but music truly brings me so much joy that I don’t really think about the inevitable set-backs and difficulties. It’s been such an enlightening journey and I feel honored to be here sharing my art.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a singer/songwriter, producer and mixing engineer. I am known for my poignant storytelling, catchy melodies and clear mixes. I am most proud of my ability to craft heart-hitting songs that people from all over the world relate to. Some of my favorite messages are from folks on the other side of the globe that have heard my songs and relate in ways I never could have forecasted.
