Today we’d like to introduce you to Tanesha Ready.
Hi Tanesha, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I was born and raised in Whittier moved when I was 20 I never thought I would be this invested into my career. I didn’t grow up doing hair like most hairstylists do I truly believe I was given a gift from God during one of the low points of my fall and I’m thankful to be doing something I love you very day getting paid to do it is just a perk. I feel like god and determination have big my biggest helps to get where I am today and of course my loyal clients.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
No not at all, this is a business that you have to make sure you stand out in some way. But without losing yourself, and personally, I’ve dealt with a lot of general health and mental health problems and have felt comfortable to be open about it with my clients but time waits for no one. As much as someone may understand my health isn’t right it can be an inconvenience at times and I can’t be upset if I’m replaced. Everything can be so fast-paced.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a hairstylist that specializes in hair extensions and braiding. I’m known more for my hair extensions but braids too I just never wanted to be branded as a braider. I just recently realized I like to do men’s braids simple and classic or sometimes with a twist. I’m most proud of the fact that I kept going. And I feel like what sets me apart is the fact that I will work 40hrs straight to make sure I get Everyone in. I hate to say no. Any of my clients know I’m very much understanding and easy to work with.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Don’t be afraid to ask questions, to ask for help, to assist anyone who’s further in something you would want to pursue no matter what it is. Learning never stops.
