Today we’d like to introduce you to Scotty ATL.
Hi Scotty, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started out as a you kid from Atlanta with dreams and ambitions to become a professional ball player and a rapper. I played ball up to college and then got involved in the streets, which lead to me taking the music more seriously because I lost my college scholarship. One day at the studio, a friend asked me to check out a grill shop. I did, and it led to me learning the business and eventually starting my own company.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s been a great five years so far; we have had some explosive growth, but we’ve also faced some challenges. The biggest challenge was scaling the business and being able to run locations on both coast ATL & LA
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m most proud of our grill we did for Issa Rae, that landed us on Steve Harvey, people magazine, and really took our business to the next level.

Making people smile means the most to me. It’s literally the reason why I love my job so much.
