Life & Work with Regina of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Regina.

Hi Regina, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
After moving to California in 2015, I spent several years performing with orchestras, building professional connections, and working with various music contractors. Through these experiences, I developed a deep understanding of the live music entertainment industry from the inside. It was during this time that I realized I wanted to create my own ensemble – one built on independence, artistic excellence, and a truly client-centered approach.

I was confident that my group could offer something unique, shaped by firsthand knowledge of both the artistic and business sides of live performance. What began as a single string quartet has since grown into OurStrings4You – a versatile collective offering a wide range of ensemble options that will satisfy the needs of the most sophisticated clients.

Our repertoire is equally diverse. It includes famous classical pieces, contemporary pop hits, iconic film scores and many more. Today, OurStrings4You continues to create elegant, personalized musical experiences for weddings, private celebrations, galas, birthday parties, corporate events as well as funerals and celebration of lives.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s been a relatively smooth journey overall, with a mix of excitement and a bit of hesitation at the beginning. When my family and I moved to California, we were really focused on building a new life and creating opportunities for ourselves. Like anyone relocating, especially to a competitive place like Los Angeles, there were definitely challenges along the way.

That said, what stood out to me right away was how many opportunities are out here. The creative scene is fast-paced and competitive, but also incredibly inspiring. I think it really comes down to being open, staying persistent, and actually going after the opportunities that come your way. That mindset made all the difference for me.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m the founder of OurStrings4You, a live string music group specializing in weddings, corporate events, private celebrations and other occasions. I work closely with highly skilled musicians to provide a comprehensive range of ensemble options including String Quartet, String Trio, Violin & Cello Duo, Cello & Harp Duo, Cello & Piano Duo (in the style of Brooklyn Duo) as well as solo musicians.

What we really specialize in is creating a tailored musical experience for each event. Our repertoire is very versatile. We perform everything from classical and Baroque favorites to contemporary pop, film scores, Disney music, “Bridgerton” soundtracks and traditional religious hymns. It’s important to me that every performance feels intentional and enhances the overall atmosphere, not just fills the space.

I think what we’re most known for is our professionalism and the level of detail we bring to each event. Having worked in the industry from different angles, I understand how important it is to be reliable, adaptable, and easy to collaborate with. We’re very attentive to timing, cues, and the flow of the event, which makes a big difference.

What I’m most proud of is building this ensemble from the ground up and seeing it grow into something that clients and planners trust. It started as a single string quartet and has evolved into a full-service group with multiple ensemble options.

What sets us apart is that combination of musical quality and client experience. We’re not just focused on playing beautifully, we’re focused on making the entire process smooth, personalized, and stress-free. I only work with musicians I truly trust, so I know that every performance reflects the same level of excellence and care.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Set up and keep high professional goals and standards. You will be rewarded for that.
