Today we’d like to introduce you to Keetin & Dylan Marchi & Cashbaugh.
Hi Keetin & Dylan, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
We are a husband and wife team who were looking for a creative outlet to do together that would keep us focused on the positive things in life and help make the world feel a little cozier. With our backgrounds we had the skillset to try our hand at a podcast. We launched our first version in December of 2024 called “Channeling Hallmark”. It was a weekly review and interview series. After 6 months, 25 episodes, a lot of lessons learned, and some great content, we took a pause over the summer to reflect and rebrand. That is when “Talk Cozy to Me” was born, your ultimate destination for all the warm and fuzzies. Our weekly episodes range from “Cozy Picks” where we go head to head drafting our favorite cozy people, movies, food… you name it. Then we put our picks head to head to let social media decide whose list was the best. We also have “Cozy Review” episodes where we watch, listen, or experience something live and then give our review with a cozy lens and an overall “marshmallow rating.” We also have “Cozy Conversations” where we interview guests who embody the cozy way of life.
Every episode we share our “Hot Cocoa” which is something that we encountered recently that gave us the warm and fuzzies. It’s almost our way of doing a gratitude journal with our audience to stay focused on the little things in life that make you smile. We also try a new type of tea every episode and as we say, “We don’t spill the tea, we share the hot cocoa.” Our relaunch as also come with video in addition to audio where people can watch our recording on YouTube. As of Oct. 6th, 2025 we have released 4 episodes and are excited to see our cozy community grow. We have a great fall line up of episodes we can’t wait to share.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Everyone and their mom (literally) seem to be starting a podcast, so we were wary stepping into that medium and not getting lost in the clutter while also making it fun and staying authentic. We both have full time jobs on top of this, so if it wasn’t fun for us why would we do it. Also working with your spouse is a whole other level of balance… When our first podcast “Channeling Hallmark” started burning us out, we were like something isn’t clicking with us. There were times we thought ending that was a failure, but walking away from that allowed us to recenter what we really wanted out of this and strategize growth potential. Channeling Hallmark wasn’t a failure, it was a great learning opportunity and we learned so much. Relaunching as Talk Cozy to Me allowed us to have a better strategy on how to produce a weekly podcast without killing ourselves. It’s still a lot of work, and our free time is limited, but it feels so much more manageable and us. Our growth has also shown that audiences are connecting with this more. We’ve learned not to be scared to try new things, and just being ourselves is the best way to connect with an audience. We are so often tired, but we are proud of what we are putting out into the world and excited to see where it can go.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
We hope to help spread some positivity and make the world a better place one cozy topic at a time. Known for sharing our weekly “Hot Cocoa” and sipping new brews of tea all while cozied up on a couch with our dogs. Every episode is a very authentic window into our own lives. We are most proud of just doing the thing. A lot of people have creative ideas that just stay that… ideas, but we are actually doing it. It might not be a huge hit right off the start, but we are doing something we both really believe in.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
We don’t get paid to do this… hopefully someday we can make some money off of this, but until then all of the equipment and our time is out of pocket. That’s why it’s so important for us to check in with each other on a regular basis and make sure we are both still enjoying ourselves. Maybe we don’t love every job we have to do for the podcast, but if overall we are still having fun and not killing each other, We will keep going. Some people might think what we are doing is a waste of time in an oversaturated market, and sometimes we have those thoughts too, but at the end of the day we know what we are doing is special. Even in those times of insecurity we can lean on each other and be the other person’s hype man.
