Heidi Tann began her music career while raising her daughter as a single mother, often performing multiple shows a week to support her family. Breaking into the international music scene from the Philippines came with challenges, requiring persistence to gain recognition and build a global fanbase. She faced the financial pressures of recording, touring, and promoting her music independently, while balancing personal responsibilities. As a woman of color in the industry, Heidi navigated biases and worked hard to secure opportunities and visibility on a global scale. Staying true to her unique blend of jazz, R&B, bossa nova, and Latin influences meant resisting pressure to follow mainstream trends. These challenges strengthened her resilience, work ethic, and authenticity, allowing her to connect deeply with audiences worldwide. Through her music, Heidi transforms her struggles into heartfelt performances that inspire and resonate with fans everywhere.
