Life & Work with Chisom Ifeachor

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chisom Ifeachor. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Cheekychizzy is a global Producer, Singer, Songwriter, Performer, and Sound Designer originally from Nigeria.

After kick-starting his career as a writer and producer and touring the World with Afro Beats legend D’Banj for almost a decade, Cheekychizzy relocated to Los Angeles in 2021 to work on his own project called “SHMITA”, a story-telling body of work on his journey to stardom, set to drop in 2023.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road coming from Africa to take over the world but with every new level comes a new victory with GOD on my side I have been growing and learning. I have a song on my upcoming EP Called. “Recall”: it’s me reflecting about my come-up days back in Abuja Nigeria when I had no money and no platform before even the fame and glory when nobody believed Only God made it possible so it’s me Acknowledging God’s Faithfulness.

I am a global Producer, Singer, Songwriter, Performer, and Sound Designer voting member Recording academy (Grammys)

What was your favorite childhood memory?
Being the only son with three sisters, I didn’t really do no chores growing up I was more of the creative type. Hence I started playing the drums, keyboard and bass guitar and an early age which made my love for music grow…….
