Life & Work with Aviv Kuan

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aviv Kuan

Hi Aviv, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
A girl with big dreams, whose fire got suffocated, went numb because all that surrounded her was disbelief and people who live and support the absurd circle of life surrounding money and work.
The fire within that little girl kept on trying to ignite the spark and bring her back to life.
That fire had to find other ways to make that little girl understand that she has to fight for what she believes in and not to fall back on her environment’s way of life.
She finally understood.
I finally understood you only regret what you don’t do in life all the things you do turn to magic or lessons.
I took all of my savings and put them there, in one basket, against what everyone said, against what they tried to convince me, a girl from Israel booked a ticket to LA to start studying music and pursue the goals of being a worldwide known music artist that spreads love and compassion all over the world .I put myself out there and began releasing music consistently every month since April 2024. Now that I am 6 songs in, I have learned so much from the experience, learned so much about myself and what I want. soon I will be starting to perform my original songs around the state and release my 1st EP.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It wasn’t in some ways and it was in others.
Making the decision to finally listen to my heart and take a leap of faith took some time and had a few sat backs. I knew this is what I wanted to do ever since I was 10 years old. Still, being a good little girl back then I didn’t listen to my heart till I was 21 years old, 11 years of trying to convince myself to do something more stable that would give me freedom in my own prison that I’ve built but I “broke out”, finally I chose myself, it was such a relief.
I will be honest with you, as always, the road after that was and is challenging but it is worth it, because I am climbing the ladder to get to where I want to get.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am Aviv Kuan, I go by A.V.I.V and Aviv Kuan.
Singer-songwriter- producer- music artist.
Within my music and me being me I feel like I have a mission to bring joy, love, compassion and acceptance to the world, make the world a bit more simple and allow people to dissolve.
I came to this realization that I will create 2 feelings of music , Dance/EDM and singer-songwriter. each one for their own purpose for anyone that is ready to listen and create a change.
Ever since August 23 till now I’ve released 6 Singles on the name of A.V.I.V, my Dance/EDM project
and on by the end of this year I will be releasing my debut EP on my singer-songwriter project that will be under my full name “Aviv Kuan”
I go by seasons, Summer for the dance EDM music and Winter for the singer-songwriter music because we are more than what seems to the eye, we are not just one season or one type of music we are more than that.
Why do i go by seasons? well, My name is Aviv and it means the season Spring which means in-between, blooming, a bit of everything and this is what I intend to give the world. freedom to be you in every season, under any type of weather.
Be sure to check out my Instagram (@aviv.kuan), Tiktok(@A.v.i.vmusic) and Spotify(A.V.I.V) to listen to the music!
Be sure to check out my new single called ‘Witch’ , it’s a super viby song in Hebrew if you’re feeling exotic and want to try new music!

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
On the lockdown I’ve learned that we do too much on the daily, we were taught that this is how it is supposed to be because if we didn’t do as much we would get board blah blah blah but I found that to be hilarious because when covid hit I actually had time to do what I wanted to do which at that time was to work out and eat well and relax and chill.
At that time I didn’t pursue music yet but there are always things to learn, bonds to make stronger and that is what I did.
I believe that the fast-paced life we are on is too much if we forget to enjoy the present moment, realizing we have everything we could ever want right now.
