Good morning Ronnie , we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
I am the most proud of building my mindset. My mind is a powerful weapon of nothing but determination, and dedication to do better in life. Nobody sees the condition I put myself to even get this far. Being relentless. Making content everyday. Being on top of schedules, making my decisions that progress me further into my career of making music. That’s the things that nobody sees and that’s the constant conditioning of what it takes to be the best.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Everyone my name is Ronnie Leon Pope, also known as upcoming artist RLPson. Originally from San Antonio Texas, and moved to Los Angeles in April. I am a visionary, a creative. I make music as my main passion. I specialize in R&B music, and I am currently in the middle of my roll out for my upcoming album, “So Much More”. So much more focuses on the vision of becoming better than just what people see or think of you. Being the greatest that you as a person is proud of and that is what means so much more. I own a clothing brand called Unscaved apparel. We specialize in Gym & lifestyle wear. We like to make our customers feel unstoppable with our custom feel good fabric and furious designs. I also own a media company called NVNC that does photography & Video. Working with clients from Texas & LA. Lastly, I am an actor that was in movies such as “Dark Summer” currently on Apple TV + and Amazon Prime. Still pending release Demons Killer coming in theaters Oct. 29th and Greyforest still pending its due date to drop.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
The world has always been a waste land of fallen dreams. I believe there is not enough people that have the will power to do what they want to do. I realized this back in 2021 when I was chilling with a couple of friends. I look around and alot of people are sill on the same journey they talked about months before with no progress. I knew that if I wanted to become better I had to level up who I was. That meant being better than the guy who only talks about success. I want to live it. I want to breathe it. That is when I saw the world as my battlefield. As my competition. I have to always be better than the next man to succeed, If I ever stop then that allows opportunity for someone else to pass me up.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would say to keep going. Keep persevering. There is light at the end of the tunnel of grinding. Keep making music. Being active in your community and just keep being yourself.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
They would say that my passions really matter to me. Music, Unscaved, NVNC, and Acting. Those things revolve around my life and everything around me is what helps make me who I am. They know that no matter what above all I can’t be me without those things. They would say what also really matters to me is inspiring people. Helping people become the better versions of themselves. The caring aspect of people.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
The story I hope to tell people when I am no longer on this earth is that, you can be anything you want to be. What I want people to take away from me is that, If you have a dream chase it with all your heart. I want people to know that if you have a dream, it was GOD given. You were chosen. I want people to say when I am dead that he did everything he wanted to do and more. He made it as an artist a creative and entrepreneur.
