Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Renae Sophia Baca of Hollywood California

We recently had the chance to connect with Renae Sophia Baca and have shared our conversation below.

Renae Sophia, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
I Got A New Puppy Named Kermie & My Significant other My Man Bobby – our relationship in 8 months deep but I enjoy the Growing process how much we have in common & we’re both Virgos – it’s so refreshing to find someone who is 1000% supportive of everything I enjoy do or aspire thru my dreams

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Well aside from my recording studio an acting on the side I’m an Artist that works with glass in a non profit called piece by piece – I got to class 2xs a week for the past 6 years – I’m very close to my teachers and classmates an it brings me so much joy to have a creative space to do as I please

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who taught you the most about work?
My Mother Annette Cecilia Baca Tought me the most about working hustling an having more then one job – she always believed in me more then I did myself – she was always proud an encouraging me to do better then I can – she was my biggest cheerleader and always rooted for me in everything I did from drill team in school to my acting to being artistic and finding love in all art forms

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Not to listen to negative jealous people because I’ve already sat in that seat an now shooting for the stars 🌟 people will belittle u an make u feel bad when u do your best just to get a rise out of it – I’ve had narcissistic friends family and even peers who don’t believe in my dreams but I just keep making amazing things happen an cut them out of my life

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
Finding patience and belief in the goodness and energy of life – ive dealt with death to the closest people to me an in those times I didn’t think I would rise from the depression – remembering an practicingmy faith in God has me committed since being a child an God Has Never gave up on me he’s always there listens to my prayers and makes miracles from nothing but my tears

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What will you regret not doing?
Traveling around the world – I got my passport last year and still have not used it but I already have a saving to go to Japan very soon so I’m excited about it very much an can hardly wait to see thing I’ve imagined thru books for years as a child !
