Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Kyle Colton of Hollywood

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Kyle Colton. Check out our conversation below.

Kyle, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
Energy

I’ve met some truly pompous intelligent people

You can have integrity and stand up for what you believe in…but if you have bad energy, I don’t want to be around you

I value my peace more than anything at this point in my life

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Kyle Colton has been acting for over 25 years.

Since making his move to Los Angeles in 2011, Kyle has managed to add over 100 credits of eclectic television, short and feature films to his resume.

Involved in projects filmed in China, Mexico, Africa, Malaysia and Thailand…in addition to all over the U.S., Kyle is always on the lookout for his next interesting role. Wherever it may take him.

Kyle Colton currently resides in Los Angeles, CA

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
Loss of trust and loss of respect

Words and actions of belief, faith and an act of vulnerability can restore a lost bond

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Keep doing what you love, not what others want you to do

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What important truth do very few people agree with you on?
Sometimes we have to go on the journey alone (or at least with a very small circle)

Not everyone understands or believes in the dream

And even the tiniest amount of disbelief can be holding us back from fulfilling our full potential

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I’m definitely doing what I was born to do

And there are definitely people who feel I’m foolish for going after my dreams. But those people aren’t in my life

And I’m inspiring others to go after their dreams
