Today we’d like to introduce you to Laura Day.
Hi Laura, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I am an evidence-based intuitive, working with large companies on prediction. In the early 80s, I was the subject of research being done on extra-sensory perception and began work in the field as a result. I chose to work primarily in research and with business because the data was consistently verified, unlike with individuals who view the data more subjectively. My great joy is teaching others, from individuals to organizations and businesses, how to use their intuition effectively. I love intuition as a tool because it allows the client to find the right, individualized path to success for them instead of giving a rote system that is hit and miss.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I coined the phrase “Practical Intuition” because in the early eighties because Intuition was not perceived as the useful tool it is today. It is the title of my first book. I found less resistance with business, where what works isn’t questioned and much more from individuals who had often had confusing experiences with esoteric-based practices or simply weren’t open to using these skills practically. People would often ask me to “intuit” their name at parties… not fun. There is a large body of research on telepathy, precognition and other extra-sensory abilities and I have had to grow a rather thick skin around people who treat intuition as a belief, despite the evidence, and not a skill to be developed in the same way we develop intellect or emotional control.
Companies often want to hire me to “see” for them however the most productive way for a company, family or individual to use intuition is to recognize it in themselves and use it in community. Convincing people to be practitioners and not consumers is both hard and rewarding when they see that their best “psychics” were right under their nose and free!

I am a speaker, workshop leader and teacher of evidence-based intuition. I am the author of 6 books, 2 New York Times bestsellers, on the practical and applicable uses of intuition. I have trained traders, CEOs, engineers, doctors and other mainstream professionals to engage their intuition for better outcomes. My workshops help people apply intuition to their daily lives and decision-making process. I also host group healing events. My experience is that everything is done better in the community. I have been a speaker for large organizations such as Hearst Magazines, Daurphin, Estee Lauder, Seagate Technologies and Clarins. I have taught at Omega, Esalen Institute, The Core Club and Soho House among others. I do a free IG Live almost every day where people use their own intuition to read one another.
