Inspiring Conversations with Dee Browné of REINE

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dee Browné.

Dee , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My name is Dee Browné, and I’m the founder of REINE, a beauty brand created with the vision of making women feel confident, elegant and empowered.

My journey into beauty started with a passion for makeup and creativity. I’ve always loved how beauty can transform not just the way you look, but the way you feel about yourself. That passion eventually inspired me to take a leap and create my own brand.

I originally launched REINE with lashes. It was a small beginning, but it allowed me to start building an audience, connect with customers and truly understand what it takes to run a beauty business. During that time, I learned so much about product development, branding and the importance of listening to your community. Every order, message and piece of feedback helped shape the direction of the brand.

Like many entrepreneurs, the journey hasn’t always been straightforward. There have been moments of learning, pivoting and growing, but each experience has strengthened my vision for REINE. Today, I’m focused on expanding the brand and developing products that combine luxury, quality and inclusivity.

What excites me most is that this is just the beginning. My goal is to continue growing REINE into a brand that not only delivers beautiful products but also inspires confidence and celebrates women everywhere.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Building a beauty brand from the ground up comes with a lot of learning curves. When I first launched REINE with lip glosses and lashes, I was figuring out everything from product development to marketing and building brand awareness in a very competitive industry.

There have also been challenges balancing the business with other responsibilities, but those experiences have taught me resilience and patience. Every challenge has helped me grow and become even more determined to continue building REINE into the brand I envision.

As you know, we’re big fans of REINE. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
REINE is a beauty brand focused on creating products that make women feel confident, elegant and empowered. I initially launched with lashes, which allowed me to build a community and understand what customers truly look for in beauty products. Today, REINE is known for its high-shine glosses and carefully curated nude shades that complement a wide range of skin tones.

What sets REINE apart is the intention behind the brand. I want every product to feel luxurious while still being accessible, and I’m very thoughtful about creating shades that especially flatter deeper and diverse complexions. My goal is to build a brand that celebrates beauty, confidence, and individuality.

What I’m most proud of is building REINE from the ground up and seeing people genuinely enjoy the products and connect with the brand. This is only the beginning, and I’m excited to continue expanding with more beauty products in the future.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I don’t really believe in luck. I believe in faith, hard work and consistency. Building a business requires patience and resilience, and I think what some people call “luck” is often the result of showing up, learning from challenges and staying committed to your vision. For me, every step of the journey has been about trusting the process and continuing to grow.
